Rated 5.0 I attempted to learn to swim via lesson at the Y. After 7 half hour session, while I could float and somewhat kick, I just wasn't getting free style down. So I took the chance on this school. The price is high, but after taking it I understand why. It's a very intensive course. I believe we were in the pool having lessons 3 hours each day over the course of 5 days. I along with one other student worked with Klaus each day. The way the class is structured is great as he went through the movements of breast stroke and back stroke step by step and we didn't move on until each of us got what we needed to do down. I had a very tough time putting all the movements together on Day 3, but Klaus just kept on top of what I was doing and correcting as I went along. Also, we did exercises about being comfortable in the water which was great. I was definitely less afraid of being in the water via the lessons we went through. I was exhausted after each class and usually would eat like a pig afterward, but felt great after each night. I believe it was by day 4, I was able to go end to end swimming on my back without a problem. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to swim. The price is high, however, the quality of the teaching from Klaus proves that it's worth it. The guy knows what he's doing.

Rated 5.0 I'm 60 years old and had almost given up on the possibility of learning to swim. Fear of the water and the humiliation of not knowing how to swim had kept me from learning. I was googling adult learn to swim (expecting nothing) when I saw the webpage for Bolle Adult Swim lessons. I signed up immediately. It's everything it says it is. In 4 days I went from being afraid to stand in shallow water to swimming in 12 ft water. I can swim!! I feel like my life has changed. I'm so happy and proud of myself too!

Rated 5.0 Ive had multiple drowning experiences in my life and never focused on learning to swim because it has always been difficult for me to pick it up. I never give up though. YMCA's courses didnt help me because they focused so much on freestyle and breathing that i practically learned nothing. And each lesson was so spread out that I had to refresh what I learned the week before, which cuts into class time. Klaus' method was great...spending hours a day in the pool and talking about theories really helped me to understand the human body and swimming itself from a scientific perspective. I was able to float on my back easily just by controlling the breathing, and do backstroke and breast stroke within few days! Klaus has a great sense of humor and always keeps the class interesting...and he always have the most interesting fun facts to share with us! I felt more confident than i ever did in water...and we all also dove into the deep end of the pool! I totally recommend this, because his methods are different and effective! Thank you again Klaus!

Rated 5.0 I am probably more advanced than the average student that attends Klaus' class. I don't have a fear of water but lacked the real survival skills needed if I were dropped off far away in the water (say in the middle of a lake). Klaus refined my strokes, taught me proper survival floats and cut through what was needed and what was not to be able to survive. Adding some fun skills like diving, underwater retrieving and handstands was icing on the cake. I also witnessed another person in the class go from being completely nervous to even enter the pool to swimming laps into the deep end in a matter of days. If you are interested in basic entry level swimming to even more advanced stuff I highly recommend Klaus. I can see why he guarantees his classes, I would have a hard time seeing someone not coming out a swimmer after going to his class.

Rated 5.0 I found Bolle swim school while doing some research on google. I started this swimming class a little skeptical, wondering what miracle would make me build confidence and swim in just few days! I must said that I was amazed by the simple and logical teaching technique of Mr Klauss. The lesson on buoyancy helped a lot. I still can't believe in just 4 days I was able to do backstroke, breaststroke with head in and out of water, jumping and even diving! I highly recommend this class to all fresh beginners. Yes, it is possible to learn swimming in just 4 days!

Rated 5.0 I took this class with my husband who has always wanted to learn how to swim. My husband was told by a swim instructor that he was a "sinker" I had no real expectations for myself, but was totally amazed in how I learned to swim in 4 days. Klaus truly is an instructor with years of knowledge and experience in swimming. He also explains buoyancy in relevance to technique. His patience and sense of humor adds to his skills..I would never put my head under water before taking this class and now am not only able to swim under water but relax in swimming the back stroke as well. I also did a hand stand under water!! Who would have thought?! I would highly recommend this class to anyone with doubts about learning to swim. Thank you Klaus for sharing your skills with others! And also..my husband was never a sinker..he was just never taught properly.

Rated 5.0 Although I had taken swimming lessons many years ago, I never felt very confident about my ability to swim and therefore I always avoided deeper waters. My goal was to overcome this lack of confidence and enjoy the water comfortably for both exercise and recreational purposes. I can honestly say that by the end of the 4th day, I now consider myself a "swimmer" and can confidently navigate deeper waters. Before departing, to my own amazement, I found myself actually diving into the deeper end and swimming the length of the pool multiple times! Klaus is an amazing swim instructor. My apprehensions made the initial days difficult for me but Klaus' personal attention, constant encouragement and corrective instruction made all the difference. Thanks Klaus.

Rated 5.0 I took the class on November with my friend. Two of us have same problem. We afraid to being in the water. The first day we started . Klaus showed us many different way that we have more confidence to get into the water. The second day we can swim to other side of the pool . We not afraid any more . By day 4 . We had learned back stoke, breast stoke, and many more. I highly recommended to anyone who would like to know how to swim. He is amazing.

Rated 5.0 Definitely would highly recommend this program. Learned more in 4 days that I had with previous lessons. Helped me get over my fear of doing a back float, and of being in deep water. Now have a solid foundation to work / practice from. Thanks, Klaus. (Back to the dogs
Oso,
Rated 5.0 Growing up, I never bothered to learn how to swim. As I grew older and went on vacations to beautiful beaches around the world, I felt left out and decided to learn how to swim. Being a busy professional I did not have time to go for endless classes in front of kids half my age moving around in the water like they were born swimming. So I went online and came across Bolle Swim School. It sounded too good to be true and I was very skeptical at first. But just 4 days with Klaus in Arizona and I was comfortable in the water and could float, do the backstroke, dive, and a lot more!! Klaus is very patient and knowledgeable and is just about the best in swimming instruction! I definitely recommend this swimming course to every adult with a desire to learn how to swim.

Rated 5.0 I am 63 and have been afraid of deep water my entire life until I completed the swimming course at Bolle in May 2018. I have been swimming almost everyday since and continue to be more relaxed in deep water. My wife can’t believe how it has changed our life. We have enjoyed Memorial Day, Father Day and the 4th of July with my family and grandkids in the pool. I highly recommend Klaus as a teacher and his program. I think it is worth every penny.

Rated 5.0 I simply didn’t think I could ever do it since I missed the opportunity to learn as a kid…and quite honestly I was afraid to. Upon arriving at the first lesson, I introduced myself to the other students that had come from as far east as Massachusetts and as far south as Florida to learn to swim. We were all over 50 years old and eager to conquer our apprehension about being in the water. I’m sure we were all thinking… ”What have we gotten ourselves into?” We got in the pool and one of our first directives from Klaus was to lean our heads back and relax. How could I relax when I didn’t know how to swim?! But the kindest, yet commanding voice, coming from this gentle giant reassured me that I could do it and that he was right there with me. I leaned my head back, listened to his instruction and within seconds I was floating. Within minutes I learned my first stroke and by the end of the first day---I was SWIMMING across the pool doing the backstroke! On day one! Klaus is an amazing instructor and an equally amazing human being! With over 40 years of swim experience, a competitive background, and a genuine interest in helping people; he instantly gained my trust. Not only did I trust him, I trusted the process and can now swim after just 4 days of instruction. Truly life changing! I’m glad I said YES to this opportunity and am so happy to have learned from this real life Aquaman who is doing what he loves everyday while helping the people who need it the most—adult non-swimmers. Klaus – there aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am to have met you and to have had this life-altering experience. You’ve changed me in more ways than you’ll ever know. I am capable. I am confident. I am fearless. I am a swimmer. You are a man with tremendous gifts and I thank you for sharing them! You are the definition of passion meeting purpose. Melody S. July 2018 Phoenix, AZ

Rated 5.0 I wish I could give the school and my experience ten stars!! The method Klaus uses to teach is so common sense, foolproof, and confidence building, it cannot be beat. His demeanor, patience and sense of humor make it an even better learning atmosphere and experience and the phyical atmosphere is as advertised and perfect for learning how to swim. I truly cannot say enough about how mich more than satisfied I am with the investment I made in going to the Bolle Swim School.

Rated 5.0 This review is long overdue-Klaus is an amazing instructor who is very passionate about what he does. You have to let go of your fears, inhibitions and any preconceived ideas, and just LISTEN and DO what he says, and you will be swimming in no time. I still can't believe i can jump and dive in the deep end with ease now. Thank you Klaus for a life changing experience. I love water now. Thank you kindly

Rated 5.0 I just completed Klaus program and I am thrilled with the result. By the end of the 3 1/2 days I was jumping into the deep end from the diving board. Although finesse was lacking, I was able to swim from the deep end many times. Klause programme gave me confidence and skills to continue my swimming journey. I am able to practice independently to improve my swimming skills.

Rated 5.0 I'm 50 and my only other swim lesson experience was when I was 10 or 11. The class was early in the morning and all I can remember was shivering uncontrollably and having a death grip on the edge of the pool. This is, as Klaus explains, not how he teaches. Our class were all adults. We started in the shallow end and the water is 85 degrees. He made us comfortable. I knew I wasn't afraid of the water as much as not knowing (and accepting the fact I didn't know) what to do. I was also convinced I couldn't float. Klaus first explained bouyancy and how it relates to swimming. I quickly realized it wasn't that I couldn't float as much as I didn't know how. After learning I could float, the rest was relatively easy. The course is an intense 4 days. It's a lot of pool time but the time goes quickly. By day two, I was spending more time in the deep end, practicing my strokes, than I'd ever imagined. It was exciting how much confidence and ability I was gaining daily. Day two, I was jumping into the deep end and swimming out. Day three, I was diving into the pool. Overall, this has been one of the most amazing and fulfilling experiences in my life. As we discussed during a break, the earth is over 70% water and most people never get to or are too afraid to experience it. Klaus and Titiya opened the world to me and I'm forever grateful.

Rated 5.0 Three days......just three days!!! I went from panicked, scared and sinking like a rock to swimming laps with no end. Klauss is an incredible communicator and a wonderful person. After explaining the simple concept of buoyancy and showing me the proper application, I was floating in minutes. I’ve never been able to do that. Building on that confidence Klauss introduced swim strokes and breathing techniques. I spent the last two days swimming!!!! Swimming, swimming swimming. I am looking forward to getting back in a pool and continuing this wonderful new found skill. Words cannot express my gratitude to Krause for the gift he has given me.

Rated 5.0 I completed Klaus’ swim classes yesterday, and I’m still on a high from it. Thitiya, Klaus’ wife, welcomed us to their home and was a beautiful hostess for our entire stay. Then we met Klaus, and our journey began. I had wanted to swim all my life, but I never could find a way to know what to do without being scared and panicky. I filled out an inquiry form online, and Klaus called me within a few minutes. After speaking with him and reading the testimonials and reviews, my wife and I decided to go for it. My wife was not a swimmer either. During the first lesson, the 4 of us in the class were becoming more relaxed in the water. The first time Klaus told us to head for the 12 foot deep end, I about panicked, but he just kept saying, “It will be fine. Just fine. I will be be right there with you. No need to worry.” Klaus is very kind and gentle, but he knows just how much to push you. What happened in 4 days was unbelievable. We all 4 went from being frightened and tense to jumping into 12 foot water and swimming to the shallow end over and over —- and actually enjoying it. Our special group was quite varied. My wife is 68, and I am 70. We are from Texas. We are both professionals — accomplished in many fields. A young mother from Maryland was there to conquer her fear and be able to swim with her daughter. Her story of her professional life amazed us all. The 4th member of our group was a young Canadian man. He is likewise a professional and also an accomplished athlete, husband, and father. So here we were, 4 accomplished people from all around the continent, gathered together to conquer our fears. Being vulnerable together, encouraging each other, and overcoming that vulnerability was absolutely fantastic. I was not ready for it to end. This was one of the top 5 experiences of my life. I spent a lot of time in the water as a boy, but I just never picked up how to actually swim and be safe in the water. The older I got the more I realized the danger of not knowing what to do, and I avoided water more and more. Every time I walked by a pool, I longed to be able to just jump in. It bore on me every time I was around water. Last May we went to Hawaii with friends who live at the beach and are great swimmers. I longed to be able to do that so much that I finally decided, “I’m sick of this. I doing something about it.” So I started searching online. When I found the Bolle Adult Swim School, I knew from the time I read all the website that I had found my answer. I told my wife, we’re going to Arizona to learn to swim. She agreed, and I filled out the form. I feel a burden lifted from me. I have discovered that learning to swim has liberated me already from the humiliation of not being a swimmer. I feel more competent than I have felt in a long time. I should also mention that I am 70 years old. I now can’t believe I put up with that for my entire life, and the resolution came in 4 days! If you have any of the feelings of desire to swim or fear you carry from prior experiences in the water, or just a longing for the water, don’t waste any time. Go take Klaus’ lessons. You will come away a bit of a changed person — a person with a lighter step — and instead of being happy the resort pool is only 3 feet deep, you will want to find one with deep water. Klaus’ plan works. Don’t hesitate. You will learn to swim, develop a special bond with your fellow students, amazing respect for your coach Klaus, and pass through a door to a new part of your life that includes beaches and pools and a liberated spirit. Rated 5.0 One of our couple friends recommended him to us. Learn swimming in four days. I could not believe it . We took almost a year to decide. Finally booked for July 5th. The experience was amazing. I have big fear of water. Tried few times before to learn but failed big time. After taking lessons I am able to swim in my own pool. I will be trying lap pool soon. He explained the Basics of swimming so easily, I still remember everything n follow it whenever I am in the water.

Rated 5.0 The impossible is possible! If there is anyone who ever doubted their ability to learn to swim late in life, forget your doubts, and sign up for this class. I finished Klaus' class on July 8th, and I'm still stunned that I can now call myself a swimmer. By the end of day 1, I was able to float, understood how buoyancy worked, and learned the mechanics of the breast stroke. By end of day 2, I was jumping in to the deep end (12' deep btw) of the swimming pool and swimming back. By day 3, I was an extremely proficient swimmer, and day 4 was just the cherry on top for fun. We were a group of adults actually enjoying our time in the water, diving in over and over, feeling completely comfortable, competent, and safe. The only drawback is that I waited so long to do it. In the 2 weeks since class ended, I practice at least 2x per week, and each time I am astounded that my body remembers. It's like swimming is now engrained in my DNA. I'm still astounded that I can now say that "I know how to swim" - and it just took 4 days and a leap of faith. Klaus is AMAZING! I'm so thankful that I came across his school. It literally changed my life...and how I think about vacations. My next one is going to involve jumping off the side of a yacht :) There's no way that would have been part of my itinerary a month ago.

Rated 5.0 I took the class the weekend of July 26, 2019 and was amazed at how comfortable I began to feel in the water after just a few hours. Klaus has a great approach to teaching and makes you feel very comfortable. He understands one's apprehension but through his support you are able to overcome the fear. It is a great feeling to accomplish something that I had given up on. I was a little leery when we had to jump in the deep end of the pool but again with his encouragement and reinforcement he creates success and then you can build on those successes. In addition I enjoyed our discussions outside of swimming as he provides an interesting perspective and insight. You will not regret the investment.

Rated 5.0 I was pretty skeptical because I have tried swimming lessons in the past, but Klaus has an amazing method to helping fearful adults become comfortable in deep water. By the end of the second day, we were jumping in and swimming the length of the pool comfortably. I came home after 4 days feeling like a real swimmer and eager to keep going in my local pool. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

Rated 5.0 Klaus provided a life changing experience for me (mini group lessons). Had butterflies driving into town Friday night. Was afraid that I would forget everything I learned Saturday morning - but muscle memory kicked in! By Sunday afternoon, I was swimming back & breast stroke across the length of the pool. Appreciate Klaus teaching me life lessons in the water environment. Enjoyed the humor infused into the swim lessons!

Rated 5.0 Klaus has completely changed my life! On Friday I was deathly afraid of the water and deep end of pool. I honestly believed for years I could not swim and would never be able to learn how, but by Sunday night I was comfortably floating, diving into the deep end, and swimming across the deep end and being totally relaxed about it! Klaus is an amazing human being, considering how many people just like me who struggled with fear that he has helped over the years! If you cannot swim, don't hesitate or worry about money, call Klaus and spend the money! It will change your life 100% guaranteed!

Rated 5.0 Kalus' swim school is the real deal. No gimmicks, no funny business. You come in having no clue about swimming and by the end of day 2, he will have you diving into the deep end to swim the length of his pool. What sets his approach apart are two things: 1. He takes his time to explain the theory of how the human body behaves in water. Yes you probably studied it in high school physics but hearing him make the connection to what you have to do in specific situations is an aha moment 2. He breaks swimming down to its fundamentals: breathing, head position etc. Having a firm grasp of these aspects ensures you can move in an efficient and relaxed manner in the water. Throw in his endless humor, and you're sure to have a blast while learning. I strongly recommend this class and you won't regret it. Money well spent!
