Rated 5.0 What I like about Calvary is that as large as it is, there is a very intimate feeling about it. I've grown more in my walk with Christ here than at any point in my life. I love that they have open forum type discussions to address current topics that are affecting Charlotte and our great nation. Calvary welcomes you.

Rated 5.0 The Christmas Concert was magnificent. The decorations beautifully matched the ambience of each song. The music was perfect for the season...but the performances of each choir from the Wee Praisers to the upper tier of the Church's Chior were magnificent both to be appreciated for all the dedication and hard work invested into each song....but the joy all displayed while singing the songs of the Christ Child and for the glory of our Great God. I so thoroughly delighted in the orchastra....the drums were awesome....and the organ. But I must say as soon as I heard the bagpipes play Amazing Grace...my soul filled up with such joy in the Lord and my eyes filled with thankful tears to Jesus Christ....there truly is no other instrument that can touch the heart and soul when playing that song than a "bagpipe" expertly played by a man whose soul runs with worship unto the Lord as that gentleman did. Thank you so much Pastor MacCarthy for your long hard work...and the unending hours of planning and investment you poured into such a magnificent performance....Thank you all those who persevered through long days of work...with family...and with so much in life...to delight the hearts of ever so many with the songs that delight the heart of God...Thank you Pastor Munroe for sharing the true and forever message of the gospel of Jesus Christ...Immanuel - God with us....and I thank God Almighty...El Elyon...for opening a door of heaven that I may walk through to share and listen to HIS Word and Worship God at Calvary Church. Rated 5.0 This was my third year of bringing our Young at Heart group from Oak View Baptist Church in Kings Mountain for the Thanksgiving meal. It's a wonderful experience every year. Getting to listen to the pipe organ, enjoy a great meal and entertainment and wrapping up with a word from the Pastor. The waiters and waitresses that serve the meal are the best. A very friendly group. I look forward to being back next year.
