About Defensive Driving Academy

The mission of Defensive Driving Academy is to provide paramount service that is relevant and convenient for all who attend, whether it is Court or DMV mandated, Insurance Directed or on a Volunteer basis. DDA offers a curriculum that includes a comprehensive knowledge of responsible and defensive driving. We are pleased you have selected our program to complete your driver improvement course or defensive driving clinic requirement. This program has been approved by Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.

Rated 5.0 The entire process was very quick and straightforward. Her instruction surpassed my expectations as she focused on advanced driving techniques that allowed me to drive proactively by anticipating changes in driving conditions and moments where mistakes can more frequently occur. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend Defensive Driving Academy and the instructor, Umalkayr, for anyone new or experienced. Did I mention instructor Umalkayr is Awesome!!

Rated 5.0 This driving improvement class has to be the best one out there. Uma is seriously so sweet and a great teacher to make you a better driver. You won't regret choosing this school, it's definitely worth it.

Rated 5.0 Awesome class it is fast and straightforward ! The teacher Uma is so nice as well, you learn so many things that you didn't know about driving .
