Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. I contacted DJ JT about a year and a half ago to play at my son’s wedding. From the start he was gracious and patient. All throughout, he patiently answered my multiple questions and reassured me that it will be a lovely event. FYI--We were not going to have dancing at our wedding but I still wanted a DJ for the wedding ceremony and reception and wanted JT to make the evening fun and entertaining. Which he did beautifully. He came up with ideas of music to be played during the “pheras”. That definitely added a lovely touch to the ceremony. We heard lot of good things about that for sure. He had made sure to discuss the music with me (since I was planning the wedding for the most part) and gave me suggestions, too, but also took time to go over it with my son and DIL to get their input. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. We are Gujrati . So there are certain songs that have to be played at a certain time. After speaking to JT, we knew that he was knowledgeable about what we were talking and axing for as he has done other good job the weddings in the past . We did book him for two days. One day was a Garbo and the other was a full day event from morning to evening . We found them through a referral. Our event was in Ohio. We couldn’t be more happier than Booking JT. He is a pleasure to work with amazing personality. He’s really good on the mic making sure we are on the schedule on time working with us, coordinating with our wedding, planner and all of our other vendors together as well we did , we did book one of his platinum packages. One of the best decisions we did make is booking the black starlight dance floor that they offer .when we walked into the room for our pictures. We were blown away by how everything looked. I definitely recommend a dancefloor to all future clients who are looking for a wow factor. We also did get screens and lighting around the room to us. Our day felt like a movie. All of our guests had a great time dancing all night long, and we loved how JT played a mix of Bollywood and American to keep all of our guests entertained I can’t wait to use them for our other family events in the near future

He worked with us with making changes and also adding on items as we needed them. We even added the starlight dance floor for both days instead of one. All of our guests were amazed when they walked into the room with the great lighting and the beautiful starlight dance floor which was icing on the cake. Their song selection was spot on with my theme and Vinay’s Emcee skills were outstanding. He got everyone engaged and all of us had a great time. Very professional and personable entertainers.

This Mehekte Sur Jodi, Aparna & Vinay are amazing performers. I had them on my daughter’s Mehndi ceremony in Edison and We will not forget the fantastic evening that they planned and executed. All the guests were spell bound by their singing skills. Moreover, Vinay is a great Mcee & has everything under one roof . Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Highly recommend them for any small or big functions which do with their live band . Thankyou Vinay and Aparna for a great memory in our memory box

Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! Our in-laws to be were super impressed and really touched by the gesture. Thank you very much . God bless you both and we hope you continue singing together for a long long time.

Awesome service! JT is a fantastic DJ and excellent communicator. We had fabulous experience for the entire interaction with a JT, from the very beginning to party, and afterwards. We had an Indo-American wedding, and JT made sure that both parties were well entertained, and respected. Music and lights service was fantastic, and all my friends gave us complements on the music. I heard about JT through my friend so I went ahead and hired him for my wedding and reception and I have to say this that it was the BEST decision I had ever made for my wedding. JT and his team were AWESOME. I’m Punjabi Indian but my husband is Dominican, so I was really concerned as to how are we going to have a great party in which we can cater to both cultures. But I had nothing to worry about all thanks to JT. He was a great MC who really got the crowd hyped up. He played music from both cultures and for everybody on the dance floor. The party didn’t stop till the end. Aside from the music, he provided everything else hw promised me which was the fireworks for our entrance, the dry ice for the slow dance and more things. Overall when I look back at my wedding, I just feel soooo sooo happy. Everything wa exactly how I envisioned it to be, in fact even better then I imagined. And I give a lot of the credit to JT and his team. Now I know if I have another event I want to host, I will be coming back to JT.

Dj JT was amazing to work with! He did a wonderful job at keeping my Jaggo party lit all the way through. No complaints what so ever! Highly recommend him!!

Booked DJ JT for my wedding in August 2022 and he made both the days of events colorful, fun and amazinggg. He set a great vibe and every time he played anything i would immediately get up and start dancing. Though he is a punjabi dj he graciously learnt everything I wanted for a tamil wedding and took my instructions very seriously to give me the best wedding!! I am so glad I worked with him and by the end of my wedding I felt like I was working with a brother. I blindly trusted him and he knew what he was doing! DJ JT is the bestest, would absolutely recommend.
