Meeker Sur was the DJ at Diwali Fest NJ in Maplewood on 10/20/25 ands they did an amazing job with the music playlist and keeping the crowd grooving!

Vinay and Aparna performed at my mother's 75th surprise birthday party last month. They made the event very lively. We had informed them that Dev Anand was one of the favorite actors of my mom. Vinay did some mimicry acting like Dev Anand and also told some stories around him which were unknown for most audience. This was in addition to their singing and came as another surprise for my mom and all guests. I had some games planned during the event which did not happen because the party did run somewhat out of schedule. However, I would still give them 5 stars since the main intention of the games was to engage guests and they were kept engaged anyway. We got good feedback from several guests that the party ran very nice and a lot of credit does go to Vinay and Aparna. We would highly recommend the duo.

Vinay and Aparna know how to light up a party! Recently they managed the sequencing of performances in our event and it was great! The whole 4-hour felt fluid and entertaining. Both are great singers and Vinay can do some impersonations as well. lol. So I definitely recommend them for entertainment in your events!

We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Kabir and his team were wonderful to work with for my sister’s wedding this summer. BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. We had our wedding in October, 2020 and we could not be happier with our DJ crew. The Kurani Brothers are truly a magical duo when it comes to DJ and entertainment. They pour their heart and soul in making sure that every event is so personal and perfect. Raj spent countless hours on the phone leading up to the event to find out more about what was meaningful for me and my wife (from where to start the baraat to which songs are meaningful to us). There was a particular song during the actual wedding ceremony that meant a lot to us and Raj went out of his way to find that song and coordinate it with the Maharaj to make that happen. In addition, our Baraat was so lit because of the work that Raj and Jay put in. It felt like they were part of the event and dancing along with us while having so much fun themselves. Their music collection and execution was so pristine and they know what songs to play and when to play it to cheer the crowd along. We had guests afterwards come to us to especially compliment the music and ask if they could have a copy of the playlist. Jay was an all-star MC who made sure to keep moving the event along but at the same time, never sacrificing on announcing the highlights of the event. Raj is extraordinary at doing his dance-along bit where he will gather the entire crowd and make them dance to particular moves. Raj and Jay' s professionalism cannot be described in words. They were punctual, flexible, thorough, and delivered everything that we had talked about. Their professionalism and partnership were especially exemplified in how they supported our efforts to make our wedding safe for our guests during COVID. We also had a backyard party where Kashu, another member of the DJ team, was our MC and he also went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was entertained and captivated. These guys were true professionals before, during and after my event last week. It must be mentioned that they were hired only two weeks before the event but this did not get in the way of the exceptional service that was provided by their entire team. From the super responsive WhatsApp group and calls to the Zoom calls to catering to every playlist and last minute song choice we made to arranging for a projector two hours before the event, they truly went above and beyond our expectations. During the party, I was struck by the flow that was maintained in spite of some delays on our end. There was not one dull moment since the music started. Sagar, Raj and Jai made sure that everyone was engaged and on their feet and dancing the entire time. The crowd motivating by Raj made even the most reluctant dancers come on to the floor. He is an exceptional dancer. The dhol added a wonderful touch to the proceedings. The games that they organized were super fun and engaging too. All along, Sagar kept checking with me to tweak things here and there. I truly appreciated that he kept me informed every step of the way. Everyone at our party mentioned to us that this was a party to remember and I think their team deserves all the credit for this. We will definitely only hire them for all of our future events.

Our Sweet 16 Party was super Duper hit. Words will not be enough to praise the whole Kurani team, they make sure each and everything goes perfect from beginning to end. Had a great experience with Kurani studios. My husband’s 40th was a hit. DJ Anmol was fantastic. Anmol’s choice of music kept everyone on the dance floor and all of us had a great time . Anu was out point of contact for the event from the beginning all the way to the end and even after that for our event. She was available anytime we needed her and was helpful throughout. Kurani Studios did a wonderful job for both our wedding and reception events! Anu's expertise and attention to detail is incredible and helped so much in the event planning process. DJ Akash managed to bring the party to the dance floor even after a traditional ceremony and beautifully blended music to represent both my husband's and my side. Not to forget, MC Jay truly brought the energy of the audience up and kept a tight schedule running smoothly for our reception event while DJ Akash lit up the dance floor and kept everyone dancing on a Sunday night!
