About Dr. Varun Yadav

Varun Yadav is a general dentist in Sunnyvale who brings a fresh, prevention-focused perspective to his practice. Born in India and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he attended Roseman University of Health Sciences in Utah. Because his dental school lacked specialty programs, Varun was able to gain a higher volume of hands-on experience in complex oral surgery and endodontic cases that are typically referred to specialists. He is a strong advocate for the "root cause" approach—before recommending a procedure, he analyzes the patient's diet, habits, and lifestyle to understand why a dental issue occurred. He is passionate about volunteerism, having spent his summers providing free dental care to underserved populations in Oklahoma and the Dominican Republic. In his clinical practice, he utilizes state-of-the-art digital tools to show patients exactly what is happening in their mouths, fostering a collaborative environment. Outside of work, Varun is an outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with his family in San Ramon.
