About Durga Temple, Detroit

Durga Temple, is a place where you can find peace in your heart as well as in your mind. Dive deep into a place where you can share old-world values and explore spirituality. Regardless of where you are from, what you believe, or what you do – we welcome all with open arms to join us in practicing Hinduism and its culture. We are a community-based Bangladeshi Hindu community established in the Durga Temple in 2006. The vision was to build a temple to serve the Hindu community in Michigan and nearby areas for all the Hindus to come and find solace in worship and prayers.

Rated 5.0 Even though the surrounding is not well developed, this Temple serves the devotees very well. Great hospitality. Parking is a problem during the Durga Puja time but on other days, it is very easy access to the temple from the parking lot.

Rated 5.0 This is a great temple to visit for everyone. The community primarily consist of Hindus from Bangladeshi origin. Prasadam served here are amazing. The prayers calm the mind and the soul.
