We at Eastern Hills Pediatrics focus on illness prevention and physical health maintenance for your child from newborn through college-age. We are proud to be your child’s medical home and look forward to working with your whole family to ensure your child reaches his/her full potential. Compassion, understanding, and guidance are central to our mission. We encourage a partnership of honesty and respect with you and your child. We are committed to make available to you a personal physician or nurse practitioner who will provide evidence-based medical care that is right for your child and clinically shown to improve health. The care team (clinical staff) will help coordinate your child’s care across multiple settings, provide you with valuable health education, and offer self-management support. Our services include well-child checkups, sports physicals, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, behavioral and developmental evaluations, as well as lactation consults for breastfeeding support. Our board-certified nurses are available during office hours to triage your symptoms, give advice, and answer any health–related questions you may have. As your child’s medical home it is important to us that we understand the whole picture of your child. Our staff will help obtain your medical records from previous providers, as well as coordinate your transition to another provider or facility. Those patients with chronic complex health conditions may require the assistance of our patient care coordinator who acts as the link between your family and the service providers who aid in the treatment of your child’s special needs.
