Amazing! My son loves it

I live in NJ and go to the South Plainfield location occasionally for exams and book pick ups. Both of my children attended the exam at the center recently. My personal opinion is that the center is too crowded. They placed all candidates in one room during the exam. Some candidates were also reading their questions out loud, affecting the other candidates taking the exam. I feel the teachers should remind the candidates to remain quiet and read their questions mentally to minimize distractions to other students. Apart from that, I do love both the teachers. Ms Bhurga and Ms Rachna are very talented teachers. My children have been learning very much from them. They are also very accommodating as well, often willing to do make up classes if we cannot attend the regular class. Overall, I think abacus/mental math is a great addition to my children’s academia. Thank you to all the teachers!

My daughter started taking abacus classes 6 months ago. The program is very well run and accommodative with make up classes, scheduling etc. The teachers are really good.

They run ABACUS and OBOTZ classes which are very beneficial to the child and the teachers are quite dedicated! They really care about the children’s progression. Even in a remote learning environment the classes are very interactive.

Ucmas was referred to us by a friend by word of mouth who praised highly of the teachers and their dedication to the craft. In 6+ months we have observed that first hand. My younger one is little difficult to work with but highly intelligent. Miss S has stopped us from pulling him out and we are so grateful to her for believing in him when we did not. Mathematics as a subject is mostly despised by children. There is something about Math that makes it not interesting, boring and very arduous for kids. And as parents, it becomes difficult when we have to choose from multiple program options available around you. Why did we choose UCMAS then for my child? The UCMAS program teaches our kids to do the math mentally and improves the speed with equal focus on accuracy. This will boost the confidence level and will build upon the problem solving ability in the child. With these skills the child tends to out perform others in his/her class. We got our son enrolled into this program when he was 6 yrs of age and this has helped him to be part of Talented and Gifted (TAG) program in his school where they teach advanced math for his level. UCMAS is the best program for kids who start at early age, it helps with brain development and they will stand out in the crowd and their thinking power is amazing!! My son started this program when he was 4.5 yrs during Covid before he started his Kindergarten. I still remember first class with Mrs. Saswati, the way she introduced this program to me and my son was extraordinary. He started online classes with Ms.Bhruga Patel, she is a great teacher - my son used to love working with her. My kid is going to BB Pleasonton since last couple of years for both Math and English tuition. Here the staff is really good in teaching and also very responsive. They do provide makeup classes. Could see very good improvement on both Math and English subjects. Improvement required on Homework evaluation and sharing the results with kids and parents.

I started using VEC during COVID with my Girl Scout Troop. We did various art projects/techniques. The teachers were knowledgeable and patient. My granddaughters (10 and 5 years old) and I continue to use VEC for art classes. We pick projects we would like to try and VEC gets us the right teacher that can teach us the proper technique. The best thing is the flexibility. The classes are scheduled around our very busy schedules. Our projects have included: sketching, water color painting, acrylic painting, oil pastels, pour painting, mandela, dot mandela, embroidery, bottle painting, and so many others. I highly recommend VEC for people that would like to learn/improve skills that want great teachers and need flexibility in scheduling. VEC excels in matching the needs of the student with the teacher that can help the student succeed.

My son is a sophomore in college. He needed one on one tutoring for calculus and physics. Based on the demos given for both subjects my son was able to make a connection to one of the tutors in particular. He received a few more secessions for an upcoming test. My son is very pleased with the help he has received thus far and plans on utilizing his tutor on a consistent basis. The service is user friendly and the tutor is A++ in his knowledge and approach to the subjects. We would highly recommended this service.
