About Hema's Kitchen

This is Hema, originally from Coimbatore India. I have been in the Greater Boston area for over a decade and have been looking for home-style food. That triggered the idea of having a small take-out restaurant to serve the people the same food that our family consumes. With the help of my brother Uday, we were able to launch this pure vegetarian take-out place in your neck of the woods. Udhay is a continental chef with over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry. After his professional education, he has worked in different capacities at different hotels and fine dining restaurants. He has a passion for traditional foods from both North and Southern India and works his magic.

Rated 5.0 Hema’s kitchen has amazing Indian veggie food. Just tried a South Indian dish. It was so delicious. Welcome to Ashland area. Must try Togo place.

Rated 5.0 Very happy to finally see a pure vegetarian Indian restaurant after closing of beloved dosa temple. Ordered a carry out. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced , noodles, starters are really tasty... Staff is very humble and courteous.. service is great too ...

Rated 5.0 Hema’s Kitchen has awesome vegetarian Indian dishes! So happy to have an Indian takeout in Ashland. The food is fresh and tasty. This will be my go to Indian restaurant.
