Hindi classes were being held at the Temple once a week to help children read, write, and speak Hindi. We also taught the children about various holidays, and even had our own mini celebrations for Holi, Diwali, and other major holidays. Soon we realized how these classes were helping children to handle speaking Hindi in day to-day settings at home and during their trips to India. To conclude the sessions at the end of the year, all of the children were able to demonstrate everything they learned at VIDALAYA DAY which was a great achievement for the children living in USA, to demonstrate and show off everything they had been learning.
