Following dental procedures are practised at KDG: Cleaning and Fluoride, Oral Hygiene Instructions, Bitewing Radiographs, Panoramic Radiographs, Sealants, Tooth Colored Fillings, Stainless Steel Crowns, Pulp Treatment, Extractions, Space Maintainers, Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas), Conscious Sedation and Interceptive Orthodontics. Dr. Sonu Kakar, founder of our group, attended the University of Virginia and earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 1997. He received his Dental Degree from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. His training involved treating pediatric patients under Nitrous Sedation, Conscious Sedation, and General Anesthesia in the hospital operating room. Dr. Kakar performs treatment under General Anesthesia at the Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia and at our Tysons location.

Rated 1.0 He was a decent dentist with my son. However, when we decided to change dentist so the whole family was seeing the same dentist? His office wanted to charge $50 just to transfer his x-rays to the other dental practice. I'm fine with records charges that are reasonable. THIS IS PRICE GAUGING! If Dr. Kakar is that intent on keeping dental x-rays of a small child, KEEP THEM! I will make sure everyone knows how you treat people.

Rated 5.0 My children have been seeing Dr. Kakar since they were each 2 years old. They love going to the dentist because they can't wait to see him. His ability to make them feel at ease at a very uncomfortable kind of appointment is amazing! My husband and I have both become regular patients as well. The service we receive from both Dr. Kakar and his staff has always been exceptional. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Rated 2.0 I have no complaints about the actual visits, but I have a really hard time reaching an actual person when I call the office (in Manassas). I needed to reschedule my son's appointment and it took 6 or 7 tries over the course of a few days to reach someone. I had left a message and never got a call back (waited 2 days). My son has only been here 4 times and this is the second time I have experienced this.
