Rated 5.0 In my opinion, the best Hindi learning program in the Bay Area! My daughter has been in this program since PreK and reads and writes Hindi only a couple of grade levels below where she would be in India! Cannot recommend this program highly enough. Madhu, the founder, is amazing: inspirational, loving, and rigorous in her teaching methods. Please note if you are interested in conversational Hindi only, taking a class once a week is not going to cut it. You need to spend several hours a day speaking Hindi.

Rated 5.0 MBK Hindi is the place to go if you want to learn Hindi. This center is not just for little kids but also for high school students and adults. I've been going to MBK for 2 years and I can honestly say I can completely speak, read, and write Hindi very well. The curriculum can be hard but if you put your mind to it you will defiantly benefit from it. I have learned a lot in the last 2 years my vocabulary has improved so much. In MBK we learned lots of vocabulary, we read some amazing literature, we even learned about the art and culture of India. It's been a lot of fun. Hindi is a beautiful language and if you are interested in learning it you should definitely go to MBK Language Center.

Rated 5.0 This is my third year in MBK and I have greatly improved in writing and speaking Hindi. In Hindi one, I came to the class hardly knowing the alphabet, and could not speak Hindi. Through my years in Hindi, my reading, writing, and conversational skills have improved ten fold. I can now carry on a conversation in Hindi. In MBK, we have read a variety of books and texts that are interesting and easy to comprehend. The books are chosen thoughtfully and taught very well. Projects are given appropriately and sometimes curved around our tight school schedules. I highly recommend this program as it has improved my Hindi speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Rated 5.0 For the past three years, I have been learning Hindi from this MBK Hindi Language Center. By doing this, I gained high school and college credits that were used towards my graduation requirements. The class itself was extremely fun and interesting. There are lots of activities through this language learning program including a Holi festival which was tons of fun! In the class, we learn lots of vocabulary and the great teachers make the complicated grammar seem like a piece of cake to learn. They also motivate us to become excellent in this subject. Most of this vocabulary comes from famous stories, plays, and poems. Grading is fair, and is an accurate reflection of how well you know the language and how much you participate in the class activities. MBK offers classes for the beginner to the very advanced so even if you don't know Hindi at all, you can still start learning.

Rated 5.0 I am currently in my third year of Hindi class with MBK. I have learned so much in the time I have attended this class that I am able to read the signs and books in India and converse with many of my relatives very easily. In MBK, Hindi students are educated well about the Hindi language as well as the Hindu religion. The two aspects of MBK come together well because we read books that are associated with Hinduism in the Hindi language. This helps students develop a better understanding for what India is like. Students learn how to speak, write, read, and converse easily in Hindi. The teachers help out students by focusing on individuals that need help until the student thoroughly understands. MBK is a great program for any child that would like to learn a language that is not as common as others!

Rated 5.0 I really like how I get to learn my country's language and also the fact that this language is outside of school, which gives me an opportunity to take another class in school. When I started the MBK program, I was very tense because I had no clue on how to write and speak in the language. As soon as I passed the first year, I had a little understanding of the Hindi language and as I passed the second year, I knew what I was dealing with. In my third year, which is this year, I started to understand that Hindi is one of the most common languages in the United States. Now, schools are giving Spanish and French in their programs but now Hindi is starting its way up into the school programs along with other languages. Overall, Hindi was and is a great experience and would really recommend this language to be open to everyone to take.

Rated 5.0 When I entered MBK Hindi program, I thought I was signing up for an easy A in a language I already knew. In fact, I have learned a lot here, not just about how to speak Hindi but also about the culture of India. I was always learning, and the classes were definitely challenging but also rewarding. We have worked on group projects, read books, and gone on field trips to different events. The teachers are always helpful and very knowledgable. I enjoy this course and I look forward to the rest of my third year and my fourth year. I encourage anyone with a passion for HIndi to take this course.

Rated 4.0 This is my second year at MBK. MBK Hindi has helped me learn hindi greatly. The teachers are very passionate and really want us to read, write, and speak hindi fluently. After almost two years learning at this center, I am able to fluently write and read, and I can actually convey what I want to say through my speaking. This program is a pretty intense program that requires a lot of hard work and perseverance. (Just as a notice, it also counts for language credits in many schools in and around Fremont.) However, all the hard work pays off. There are many projects that are given, including presentations, art projects, and critiques. But they all help improve hindi reading, writing, and indirectly, speaking. The teachers are all very qualified, and they are always there to help us students when we are having trouble or require extra practice. Overall, this program greatly benefitted me and I can now be proud to say I somewhat know my mother tongue.

Rated 5.0 MBK Hindi is a really great program that has taught me not only how to read, write and speak Hindi, but a lot about Indian culture and politics as well. In my Hindi class we do a lot of awesome activities such as going to fairs and seeing Bollywood movies, but we also learn a lot in the process. We get to apply our learning and our knowledge of hindi by doing lots of projects, skits, and even singing songs. All the Hindi classes also get together during annual parties such as the one we have for Diwali. Although it takes a lot of time outside of school, I really enjoy being a part of MBK's Hindi program because it is also a lot of fun.

Rated 5.0 As a Hindi student myself, I cannot express my gratitude for my culture, family, and religion after having joined MBK Hindi. Three years ago, I joined Hindi 1, taking the same ordinary approach as many others, to fulfil my foreign language requirement. After my first and second years of Hindi, I was ready to advance to my final year, holding the same inital mindset about fulfilling my language requirement. On the first day of my final year of Hindi, I met with my current teacher, Madhu Aunty. At first, I reckoned that this year would also be another typical year. However, Madhu Aunty was different. She believed in educating us for the purpose of learning. This thought really inspired me to do well, and I changed my mindset about the way I looked at the class. Madhu Aunty continued to each us exceptionally, and I gained copious knowledge. By having faith in us, many of us, students, worked to genuinely learn about the Indian culture, religion, and history. Madhu Aunty not only changed my approach to classes such as Hindi, but she also changed my approach to life. Her expectional teaching skills also engaged many of us, students. Best of all, Madhu Aunty gave everyone a chance to succeed, which really caused me to strongly respect her. I strongly reccomend that everyone should take the opportunity to give MBK Hindi a try!

Rated 5.0 MBK Hindi was an amazing experience or me. Although the tests were hard I really learned a lot of Hindi here and I really reccommend it for all hindi students. This class is not only fun but was also interesting and I enjoyed spending time here after school. I didn't want to take spanish because I knew that I wouldn't use it my life as often as I would use Hindi. After I decided taking Hindi my vocabulary excelled and I learned so many new things. On top of that we had some really nice parties and I really enjoyed the types of projects we received. Over all I really love the program and I highly encourage any Hindi learner to take this course and learn Hindi within a short period of time.

Rated 5.0 I took this class for the foreign language requirement for college. I was very surprised at how much i learned. This class has many different levels which are perfect for anyone. For a student with very little prior hindi knowledge, i enrolled in hindi 1 from which i have graduated to Hindi 3. My knowledge of Hindi, as well as Indian culture, grew to new limits. I am really pleased and happy i took this class and would encourage others take it too.

Rated 5.0 We were looking to bring Hindi as an after-school club at my son's school. MBK worked with us and the school to make this happen in the middle of the year. The parents couldn't have been happier with the caliber of teachers and the program as a whole. The following year when we had new students interested in the program, MBK created 2 separate sections - one for the brand new students and another for the returning students. This helped to ensure that all the kids received the attention and diligence needed for their specific level. I highly recommend MBK and their incredible staff!

Rated 5.0 We moved to Bay Area in month of December 2014.After doing some research we wanted to try MBK for my 7 years old daughter. Even though it was middle of the year, Madhu-ji and Shilpi-ji enrolled my daughter in to program and sat with my daughter after the class to make sure that she is comfortable with the language. In 5 months, my daughter was able to recognize, read, write hindi alphabets and write small words and able to read small stories on her own. This is not possible with out their constant support. FYI- We don't speak hindi at our home and hindi is not her mother tongue. We really liked the program and the way they teach.

Rated 5.0 Three years ago, I took this class as a replacement for Spanish for my college language credit. Rather than taking it as a language I could learn, I had taken the language solely for the purpose of receiving credit for a language. But, as I began going to this class I began to realize how lucky I was to be part of MBK Hindi. The teachers at MBK, teach solely on the basis of trying to find a way to teach the students so that, the students can learn to their most optimum level. Because of the hard working teachers and the curriculum taught to me and the other students the learning is maximized. I went from not being able to read a single word in Hindi to being able to read whole books. MBK is truly a great learning center for being able to learn Hindi and I guarantee anyone who joins will learn more than they thought possible.
