Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. I am glad that I did not find it, otherwise I would never have of met Vinay and Aparna. I found Mehekte Sur as I was doing Google Searches. I flew them out from New Jersey and in all honesty, they did not disappoint. It was absolutely 100% the best decision for an entertainment vendor. Throughout the entire process Vinay and Aparna stayed in contact with me through texts and phone calls reassuring me that they will be here. Vinay & Aparna did an amazing job at Emceeing and crowd engagement. Their voices are fantastic with all the songs that they sang. They meshed so well with each other as well as into my family, as if we were related and just had not seen each other in a while. We were all blown away with their soul touching voices and choice of songs. Listening to Kishore Kumar classics in Vinay’s voice took everyone to the golden age of Bollywood. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Dilshaan and crew performed at a NYE dawat of mine and everyone was beyond impressed! From arriving early, they quickly set up on the living room floor and played 1.5+ hr set of well known ghazals, some modern songs and crowd requests. They even let 2 of the guests sing with them! Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. I would highly recommend Dilshaan as a talented professional for special occasions.

Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. I don’t know where to even start on how magnificent of a singer, entertainer and person she and her husband are. I hired them to sing at my Dad’s 70th birthday party. It was truly a magical day because of them. They are more than just singers. They were like family. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

We had the pleasure of working with Aparna and Vinay for my mom’s birthday. The entire process was seamless. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . Mehekte sur did a fantastic job at our event. They were timely and well prepared for the musical games we had requested them to play with the crowd. In addition they both sung well and were very good mc's when we had other activities going on. Highly recommended!

We attended the Jhakaas New Year party organized by Mehekte Sur and hands-down it was the BEST New Year Party that we have attended in a long time - excellent setting, good food, open bar, separate kids play area, good DJ..... the list is endless. Hands down one of the best Valentine’s Parties we have attended in a long time. Mehekte Sur did a great job with the planning and their personalized entertainment offering. Emcee Vinay was the soul of the party and kept everyone engaged. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there.

We hired Mehekte Sur for Holiday Party of Jain Jagruti Center New Jersey on Dec-09-2017. Both Vinay & Aparna were fabulous. The song selection was fantastic and the unique thing about them was that the Romantic duets seemed so genuine as they are a married couple. Vinay made the games and proceedings much more fun with his Emcee skills and ended the evening with some great DJ music. They are super value for your money and we would highly recommend them to make any event a memorable one.

We saw the Mehekte Sur jodi in action at our cousin's wedding. Aparna's rendition of the Punjabi folk songs was really good. Vinay's Emcee skills kept the crowd entertained and engaged and the best part was the natural on-stage chemistry between the lovely couple during the singing segment. Very unique. Highly recommended.

Mehekte Sur performed for our pre-wedding sangeet party. They organized everything right from food, DJ and dance to music- antakshari for the guests! They planned ahead of time, collected pictures and memories from our friends and created a surprise video for us. They also put together interesting games for our guests and made the event engaging and memorable! Best part is, they are simply passionate about what they do and that makes it even more fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend them for a personalized experience!??

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . We have gotten great feedback from our guests and cannot thank Mehekte Sur enough.

Mehekte Sur performed at our Annual Diwali event and their performance rocked. They were so lively and energetic and their song medley was pure adrenaline. They had pretty much everyone on their feet and the crowd went crazy. Super performance by a very talented singing duo. They will feature in all our future events. I hired Mehekte Sur for my engagement party as my parents are big fans of the Golden Era songs and wanted a segment for the same at my engagement party for their friends. Vinay and Aparna worked with us to not only cover that segment but also spent time with us to plan the songs for the couple dance at the start of the event. They really surprised us with their versatility in singing by creating a customized medley of fast songs that really set the mood before the DJ music kicked in. They are a great team and I would highly recommend them!

I hired Mehekte Sur for a house party to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had hired them since they sing Marathi songs. All our guests were amazed by their talent and we got full value for our money. Super variety of songs including fast numbers that had all of us dancing. Super jodi and very personable.

After having followed Mehekte Sur via FB videos for several months, we finally had the pleasure of experiencing a live performance this past weekend. Vinay and Aparna are absolutely fantastic. Their energy and chemistry is magical, and versatility is phenomenal. Five stars all the way!!
