About Nalas Restaurant
Our chefs have created a menu using the finest spices available in South India. We would like to pamper your taste buds with different types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties. Our inspiration is from King Nala’s pakasatra (science of cooking). We use incredible spices and source fresh vegetables and premium halal meats preparing our dishes on site every day and paired with ingredients so good they really speak for themselves. For those with pure food indulgence in mind, come next door and sate your desires with our ever-changing internationally and seasonally inspired small plates. We love food, lots of different food, just like you.

Rated 5.0 We were in a group of seven who went here on the opening day. We were blown away by seeing the number of people which always reminds how foodie we Indians are. Was worth a wait for more than an hour but no complaints as getting a seat itself was a victory, service was not at the lightening speed and not because the servers or managers were inefficient but because of the number of the people turned up which was insane and quite like a mob at some ceremony. Most importantly the taste of the food was appealing here which would attract me n my friends frequently. Choice of the best within the available buffet made our life easy and we relished the taste. My personal favorite turned out to be mutton Biryani n the yumm chilly chicken with some others equally competitive like chicken curry n korma. I would definitely recommend this place to people with the intelligent choice of the day. I am sure I will be there soon. I wish this restaurant the very best.

Rated 5.0 The food is absolutely delicious! The staff is awesome! The only thing what i felt is that the portions can be a little larger, but otherwise the food tastes authentically Indian. My wife and I recommend this restaurant.

Rated 5.0 Been here two days in a row now. Most likely there will be a third. Love it. The variety and quality is fantastic as are the staff. Both times I have been treated very well and given great advice and suggestions for dishes to order. While they have all the great staples of the region I suggest getting a bit adventurous.I was not disappointed in doing so.

Rated 5.0 Best South Indian food in the Austin area. Had Nala Bogham, all you can eat non-veg meals. All the curries are authentic and spiced enough. Service is good, and the waiters are attentive and re-filled my plates every time. For kids lot of Dosa items and my 6 year old loves their chicken 65. Its become a favourite go to place for my family.

Rated 5.0 Not only were we pleased with the variety of food items and taste of the Nala Bhogam-Grand Meal, but never having eaten Southern India food, the waitstaff was extremely helpful in explaining each food item brought to the table. We were educated on on the differences in cuisine from the regions of Northern and Southern India. Highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 Loved their food. Very authentic and really tasty. All the dishes we tried were great. The service is great though we went twice late. Even we had a chance to see the chef and the owner. Very passionate and humble. Tones of vegetarian food options. Badam milk is most. Highly recommended.

Rated 5.0 I visited Nalas for lunch last Friday completely unaware that it was the first day under new management. There was a big crowd at the place, but we were seated fairly quickly and the food arrived after a short while. I ordered Friday special non-veg combo which basically gives eat-as-much-as-you-can privileges for anything on the plate. Waiting staff walks around with refill dishes to serve at your request. The quality of all items range from very good to excellent. Needless to say I left the restaurant a few pounds heavier. Though i wish food had arrived a little sooner, considering how swamped they are on that day, I don't hold it against them. I will visit again and I recommend this place. The best indian restaurant.
