He is proficient in Rigveda Kramantha, Krishna Yajurveda Sahmitha and Karma Kanda Jyotisha Shastram (Vedic astrology) and has passed the prestigious Sahityacharya Exam. He has been the Main Priest for the last 15 years at Temples in Bangalore and Utah and has taught Vedas in Maharshi Ashram, Noida. He is fluent in English , Telugu, Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Tulu.

    Rated 5.0 The best pandit! So knowledgeable, kind, funny, easy to communicate with, and just an incredibly grounded and peaceful overall energy. We were so lucky to have him officiate our wedding, which he kept moving smoothly and with explanations for the English-only speaking guests. Pandit Somayaji leads with with warmth and humor while of course still honoring all of the sacred Hindu traditions we wanted to have be a part of our special day. We look forward to celebrating more special events with him in our futures.
