Pandit Manikantha Seetaram worked as a Veda Pandit and freelance priest at Simhachalam Devastanam, Visakhapatnam (AP) for 8 years. Panditji is a Krishna Yajur Vediya Krama Pati and also trained in the Smartha tradition. He has studied Krishna Yajur Veda and various karma kaandas from his gurus Sri Kaundinya Sarma and Sri Venkateswara Ghanapathi for over 11 years. Panditji is an expert in performing various karma vidhis including Panchadasha karmas, Abhisheka, Homam and Alamkarana. While Panditji?s speciality is in the Smartha tradition, Panditji is also knowledgeable in Vaisnava, Saiva, and Sakta traditions. Pt. Manikantha's mother tongue is Telugu, but he is also fluent in Hindi and English. His hobbies include music, reading books and playing cricket. Currently working in Austin Hindu Temple from October 2013.
