Swamiji came to America in 1993 to serve one or two years at Badarikashrama in California. This extended to six years of service where Swamiji learned much and gained understanding of devotees’ lives in the West. In 1999, Swamiji got the opportunity to travel home to India to see his family and to travel to the Himalayas, visiting Haridwar, Rishikesh and Badarinath. While meditating in Badarinath, Swamiji had a vision.
