Rated 1.0 Brides beware! Geteey has decided to keep over $7000 when we were forced to cancel our wedding due to COVID-19. Our wedding was planned for June when the Governor shut everything down. At that point it was illegal for us to hold a gathering of more than 10 people. Geety had 3 months notice by me and the governor that there would be no wedding. Although this act of God has presented itself all of a sudden and is completely out of everyone’s control, Geteey has decided that this is “man-made” disease and therefore will not refund the money that she has taken from us and has NOT earned. Geteey has done nothing for us but dodge our phone calls and attempts to resolve this issue. Somehow she seems to think she’s entitled to the money. Every single venue has offered a full refund without us even asking. Except Geteey. She kept our $7000+. She has not performed any service. She just took the money we’ve been saving for years for our wedding. Imagine saving up all that money to put into a wedding and then someone just takes it without performing. So upsetting and frustrating. Brides! Be careful with this one!! Don’t make the same mistake I made during these unprecedented and unpredictable times. It’s bad enough having to cancel your wedding because of a situation out of everyone’s control. We had to get married at home in the interest of our parents’ safety and to follow the COVID laws. Any other person would have handled the situation differently. Extremely devastating blow!
