Rated 5.0 I have been learning Hindustani Classical singing with Swarlahari for about 10 years now, and I wouldn’t trade the experience thus far for the world. Music has come to be a respite for me from all the stresses of life. Not only that, but my focus, determination, and dedication have definitely improved due to the constant practice and hard work required. Anshu Saran is so incredibly patient with all her students, and she really goes above and beyond to ensure we succeed. She also pushes us to do our best, exemplified through the certification exams all her students excel at. Overall, my music growth has been exceptional under her tutelage, and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in Hindustani Classical singing.

Rated 5.0 We know Miss Anshu for several years. My daughter learns singing from her since she was 5 and i am so grateful to Miss. Anshu for teaching hindustani singing. Her dedication and commitment to the art of music is commendable. She emphasises on regular riyaaz/practice that has helped immensely to my daughter. Miss Anshu also has lot of patience and always encourages kids to do great. I am so glad to be associated with Miss Anshu and look forward to many more years. Rated 5.0 I enrolled my 5 years daughter to this school for Hindustani vocals with teacher Anshu. We liked the teaching methodology that miss Anshu follows where kids can understand the concepts easily and practice. Patience, keeping the student engaged and interested throughout the class, motivating at the right time and pursuing student to practice more and more are some traits that miss Anshuji displayed during the classes. Though it was online class, Anshuji did fab job of imparting the knowledge and enhancing the learning with available resources. I learnt that they have started in-person classes. Highly recommend Swaralahari School of Music.

Her interest and passion for Hindustani Shastriya Sangeet has grown over these years thanks to Anshuji. Apart from being a dedicated music educator, Anshuji comes across as a genuine human being who loves all her students. Anshu Ji is a good teacher who is patient and has a genuine interest in instilling the love of music. She comes up with innovative ways to make classes fun for younger children. She organizes a recital yearly where the children showcase their talents. I would recommend her if you are looking for a good teacher.

Rated 5.0 I was a Swalahari student for around a decade and must say I would not be the singer I am today if it were not for Anshuji. Because of the strong vocal foundation I built from her teaching, so many people appreciate my bhajan singing at the temple. Her patience with students, guiding them through challenges of certain raags and bandishes, is unparalleled. She also has successfully led numerous students to certifications in Hindustani Classical Singing from the Samved Conservatory (madhyam.us). I myself completed the first level.

Rated 5.0 My daughter has been learning from Anshuji for more than 5 years and we can certainly see how she enjoys learning from her and singing as well. First 2 years were hard with having her do Riyaaz, but Anshuji kept motivating her with stickers n rewarding accordingly. Keeping up on the riyaaz, performing at annual recitals and family functions, boosted my daughters confidence and Anshuji also tried her best to have them compete at competitions. We can see amazing results and love listening to her songs as they are very soothing and pleasing to hear. My daughter looks forward to singing classes and learning from Anshuji and we are so grateful that we have a teacher like her in then DFW metroplex keeping Hindustani culture alive. Recommend Anshuji if you are looking for a dedicated and sincere teacher and someone that is really invested in teaching Hindustani music abroad.
