I really enjoy my lessons with Dhara. She is very helpful, always upbeat, patient and positive. She is very good at assessing students abilities and goes out of her way to help them learn. Not only is she a gifted musician but also highly skilled at teaching. I highly recommend ICMSC! October 2024: A little update on my musical journey with ICMSC thus far. I have now been learning for almost 5 years, I am in Madhyama Purna. The results & growth I achieved thru lessons has made my long-time dream of attaining a Visharad in Indian Classical music finally seem like a reality! As an adult student I'm glad I found a teacher as patient, friendly & knowledgeable as Dhara.

Oct 2024: Update on my ongoing music learning experience at ICMSC. Has been three years now and it continues to be an amazing, enriching, & enjoyable experience. Dhara ma’m is very motivating and goes the extra mile to make our learning process fun and effortless. ICMSC has now added Live Tabla for some sessions which adds immensely to our understanding. Dharaji is super talented and gifted teacher - a rare combination. She is very patient, encouraging and dedicated. Ruchirji and Vagmi do an excellent job of keeping everything organized and respond to student queries in a timely manner. I really look forward to music lessons and feel motivated to practice. Blessed to have found ICMSC. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would.

Dharaji is wonderful with the young kids! She is very patient and kind but also motivates them to learn and practice. We have been doing classes online and it has worked out very well with no technical issues. Also, it is very helpful to have audio recordings on Google classroom to practice from. Overall, the classes and curriculum are very well organized and teaching methods are very effective, even for the little ones.

My daughter enjoys her music lessons very much and she loves the way her teacher has a very positive learning environment

Dhara Bakshi is a great music teacher, and really makes you interested in what you are learning. Individually, she is an excellent singer, and is great at passing down her knowledge in a way that's systematic, efficient, and fun. I enjoy taking classes from her! If you want to learn, do so! Your life---both musically and generally----will be a lot richer because of it. I know mine is.

Both my daughter and I have recently joined ICMSC and our first impression about this school is nothing short of excellent. The management is very organized, the courses are well structured and communication is clear. Dhara ji is a super talented and patient teacher. She is very good with understanding the students' needs and capabilities to place them at the right spot for learning. Her great teaching style, supported with providing regular study materials, makes it an ideal place to learn music for both kids and grown ups. Highly recommend this institution.

Our family is fortunate to have my two sons (age 13 and 8) and I enrolled to ICMSC and learning from our teacher - Dhara Bakshi. With super organized notes, class discipline, a small teacher to student ratio, we feel very motivated and encouraged to learn and follow the highly focused curriculum. The recordings and detailed class material are super handy and helpful for whenever and wherever we like to practice singing. Feel lucky and blessed to be a part of this fast growing music school! Dhara ma’am is a wonderful and patient teacher. She is good with teaching children. My child has been taking classes with her for six months now and I can see how much they have improved, in terms of confidence as well!

I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the school. Dhara is a patient, kind and very talented teacher. She makes her students feel very comfortable no matter what level we are at. I feel I want to practice more and do better and better in each class and make her proud. Even though they have their hands full, running the school at full capacity, I feel, she is always there if I have any question or if I need any help understanding the material. I look forward to my class every week. She makes each session very valuable as well as fun. Dhara is a wonderful, highly skilled and talented teacher that one can have. She is very patient and kids enjoy her class too. My son has been taking music lessons from her since last year and he eagerly waits for his music lessons every week, that shows how dedicated and warm she is! In this pandemic, even her virtual classes are with same enthusiasm and determination. Happy to have her as our music guru!
