Enjoy a simple meal there with appetizers of dahi wada, spicy yoghurt soaked lentil fritters and move on to the famed palak paneer, creamy cottage cheese cubes in spinach, or achari aloo, potatoes tempered with pickling spices. Choices abound amongst the rice dishes too, with some options such as vegetable biryani vying for attention with the various parathas and rotis. They have more than a hundred different types of Indian sweets which are prepared fresh from the best ingredients. The Rajbhog franchise location opened in Hicksville in year 2001. With the growing South Asian community in the area, it was one way of bringing the favorite sweets and snacks shop closer to them. Over the years the popularity grew in Long Island and soon becoming the # 1 Sweets & Snacks & Catering place to go.
