About Ramesh Kesavalu, MD

Ramesh Kesavalu, MD, received his medical degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, India. After completing his internship and residency at Ball Memorial Hospital, Indiana, he trained in Rheumatology in the fellowship program at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. Dr. Kesavalu's areas of clinical interest include lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, gout, myositis, scleroderma, sjogren's, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR), spondyloarthritis (psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis and enteropathic arthritis), osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. He is board certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine, but has limited his practice to rheumatology. In addition, Dr. Kesavalu is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Kesavalu holds an unwavering commitment to high quality and compassionate patient care. He firmly believes in practicing evidence based medicine and is up-to-date with the fast advances in rheumatology. Dr. Kesavalu is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in rheumatology.
