Venkatesh and Jayashree started teaching in 2000 for a small number of students. As word spread around, more and more students enrolled and today there over 60+ students learning vocal and violin. In addition to Carnatic Vocal Music, Venkatesh and Jayashree are both accomplished singers in the Indian Film Music genre. They have successfully performed in many Chicagoland events with full live accompaniments and band. Each student has a unique way of learning. We understand that and pay attention to that when we teach. Whether it is group or individual lessons, we ensure that students are learning the best way they can and are absorbing as much as they can during class. We also stress the importance of regular practice at home. After all, practice makes perfect.
