Rated 5.0 Very very nice temple. Must visit have sharadamba Darshan if you are visiting Houston. If you live in Houston visit weekly once and spend time few hours with family in the evening.

Rated 5.0 For all Indians and those who wants to go Indian Temple, this is very near to Richmond, TX neighbourhood. This temple is Clean, beautiful, big, feel blessed. Priests are also very good. You can worship Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Shivaling, Lord Krishna, Shardamamba. Their parkjng is also big.

Rated 5.0 Those who were complaining about the temple have been doing things according to their whims without abiding by religious conduct. If you want to start creating new rules and practices, you might as well stay at home without coming to a temple that was built and run by religious and orthodox folks. No, no matter how progressive you may want to feel, women and non-dwijas do not chant Vedas. You want to do it? Sure, go ahead but don't get upset when you get reprimanded while doing it in public. Preserving Sanatana Dharma does not mean you should create new practices and act progressive. The lady who was upset because someone told her not let her hair down in temple, you should not go to the temple without tying it. Letting your hair down may seem fashionable but the temple is a traditional, religious place. Untied hair as per Sanatana Dharma is associated with unfortunate events like grieving, etc. Please stay at home if you want to act progressive and "challenge religious norms" in temples.
