Telugu Church of Houston in Spring is specialized in Religious Organizations. They are servicing at Austin Metro area, Dallas Fortworth area and Houston Metro area. Pastor Vijay Gurrala who was born in Guntur, India is the father of the church. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics, he settled in the United States. He worked as a Computer Software Professional for over 25 years after completing his master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago. At the year of 2002, Vijay accepted God’s Divine call to serve him and his people as a fulltime minister. Vijay was a pioneer in starting the Telugu Christian Fellowship of Houston. At the beginning, they started with a home Bible study. After 24 years they have grown to about hundred plus families and continue to meet on every third Saturday of the month. Vijay has been called by Luthern Intercity Network Coalition (LINC) to be a Missionary at Large to serve in the Houston area. He too worked as a campus minister in the University of Houston for 5 years and now over sees the activities. Contact him for home visits, home prayers and occasions.
