The Mary Louis Academy is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women founded in 1936 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood. Our academic philosophy rooted in the Sisters’ charism of unity, reconciliation, and inclusive love - emphasizes intellectual, personal, and spiritual growth. Our dedicated teachers, academic quality, outstanding facilities, and committed students create an unparalleled school spirit. Our central focus at TMLA is academic achievement, and our students excel, with all receiving the Regents Diploma and the majority receiving the diploma with Advanced Designation, New York State’s highest standard. Our excellent teachers and guidance counselors are accomplished and accessible, and Honors and Advanced Placement courses are offered in every major discipline, beginning in ninth grade.
