Weddesidance

Mridul is the core choreographer for WedDesiDance. She’s been dancing for over 20 years and has covered a wide array of dance styles. She started choreographing dances for competitions in 2006, but has been choreographing for close family and friends for much longer. Teaching and dance have always been close to her heart. Mridul initially followed a relatively traditional path to education. Up till middle school, she stayed and studied in America. For high school, she went to a boarding school in India, where she choreographed and taught dance for celebrations and competitions. For college, Mridul proceeded to get degrees in Chemical Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Six Sigma and Entrepreneurship at a university in America. Even during college, she continued to dance and choreograph on competitive national collegiate dance teams. After graduating, she spent a year in a Fortune 100 company in New York and realized that dance choreography is her true passion. Her vast experience and training in logistics, data and technology provide her with a unique mix of skills that other choreographers can rarely boast about. The challenge of handling an international clientele, choreographing each personalized dance to the specific person and event, and dealing with the logistics of reaching out to each member in the wedding party are a few things that Mridul looks forward to. There’s almost nothing Mridul loves more than weddings and celebration of love. The music, the atmosphere, the wonderful people to meet – what’s NOT to love about weddings WedDesiDance is Mridul’s dream. It combines the three things that she is most passionate about: Teaching, Dance Choreography, and being able to make a positive impact on the happiest day of people’s lives – their wedding.
