Established in 2004, Aqua Skills is a private swim school in Lower Manhattan in New York City, and is a leader in swim education throughout NYC for adults & children (ages 4+). We believe in a gentle approach to teaching swim skills. We conduct private & semi-private swimming classes in an exclusive heated pool. We teach adults at all levels - from non-swimmers to people training for triathlons or competitive team swimmers. A trial class is suggested for placement. Early Bird 6AM -12 Noon 7 Days A Week Includes Saturday and Sunday Classes!!! Endorsed by the New York Times.

Rated 5.0 This is the best place for an adult to learn to swim in Manhattan. World class affordable one on one instruction just steps from Wall St. Skip the overcrowded pools and impersonal experience offered by the big gyms.

Rated 5.0 In only 5 sessions Lori taught me how to overcome my fear of water and actually swim! Used to be embarrassed about not being able to swim as an adult. Private lessons were very helpful. Not to mention, its really difficult to find private swim classes for adults in NYC. Aquaskills is definitely a gem

Rated 5.0 An excellent swim school . I call it the Jedi academy of swimming. Craig, Lori, and the entire Aqua Skills team are supportive and very knowledgeable in their training techniques . I learned how to clean up my freestyle stoke, flutter kick and backstroke kick here. Highly recommended for any aspiring adult or child swimmer .
