Abhayanga is a massage that's done with warm oil. The oil is applied on the entire body, from the scalp to the soles of your feet. It's the most popular massage in Ayurveda; a traditional system of medicine from India that relieves muscular aches, detoxifies and rejuvenates the body. Swedana – Reduces inflammation, improves circulation and promotes healing and restoration. Swedana also reduces the Fat Tissue assisting with weight loss.

Ayurvedic consultation involves a thorough examination of your body through which the consultant really gets to know you. It consists of areas of the body and their functioning, which reveal the balances and imbalances in your body.

This treatment is one of the most effective therapies in Ayurveda. It is used for the treatment of several common and chronic ailments and is basically a part of Panchakarma. In Kizhi Ayurveda treatment massage, heated herbs and medicinal oils are tied in cloth bags first and kept in the area that is to be treated. After that, a specific gentle massage with the help of fingers, a heel of the hand or palm is provided to the patient. The bags are then placed with varying degrees of pressure on different body parts, with a special focus on areas where the marma – or nerve points. Kizhi is most beneficial in musculo skeletal disorders (pain, swelling and stiffness), neuro – vasculopathy (numbness, loss of sensation, cramps etc.)

Marma points are energy points in the body used for healing in Ayurveda. There are 107 major marma points in the human body (Face, head, arms, legs, abdomen, chest, back and trunk), which are connected to the seven chakras, while the minor marma points are found around the torso and the limbs. Stimulating the marma points affects the chakras and the doshas (types of energy in the body). The focus of marma point massage is primarily to manipulate subtle energy or prana, but physically they're also very effective for relieving stiff muscles and boosting circulation.

Nasya is a treatment procedure mentioned in Ayurvedic texts for cleansing. The name 'nasya' is evident that it is related to the nose. Nasya is a part of panchakarma as it helps in detoxifying the head. Nasya oil is an herbal infused oil which is both nurturing and nourishing, and supports the sinus, nose, throat, and head. It is a balancing formula for all doshas, especially vata, and has been traditionally used to lubricate the nasal passages, improve the voice, support clear vision, reducing headaches and other problems related to sinus. Swedana is a form of therapy that uses herbal steam to release toxins from the body through the skin. From Sanskrit, sweda (or swid) means “perspiration" or "sweat”; and during this therapy, sweat is released through the pores in the skin, which release ama, or "toxins," that are rooted deep in the body. This therapy is thought to relieve muscular tension, restore flexibility, clear energy passages, detoxify the body, and help with muscular inflammation, hypertensionand circulation.

Udvartana is an invigorating full body massage done in a rhythmic motion using herbal powder or paste. This therapy is largely recommended for diabetic neuropathy, obesity, paralysis, skin care, sciatica and indigestion among others. Udvartanais to remove toxins through the skin, benefits for reducing excess cellulite and fat accumulated under the skin.
