Rated 4.0 Overall pretty decent for a buffet service. Make sure you get some clarity on some of the dishes. The “fry” items may not always be “fried”. I got confused on some chicken fry when it came out with some sauce etc., I realized each chef and restaurant adopts their “local” lingo - so depending on their “native” inspiration the dishes have their own variation. So just get some clarity on that before you order!

They had a variety of options to choose from. A special mention to Mr. Raju, and kirthi who truly made the entire event seamless from booking to end. Overall was a great time.

Include multiple veg and non veg starters, multiple biryani s, sweets, live appam counter and rotis, chat items etc. cost 22-23/head Would definitely recommend. Addition: Peshawari tikka is great, good masala, good charring. Tried Khubani ka meetha also, it was nice.

Rated 4.0 Good, tasty food and a lot of options to choose from. A tad bit costly than other Indian restaurants close by, but the taste makes up for it. Be mindful of hot and spicy food though. Not overwhelming but not suitable for everyone. I guess the worst thing was the service as one of the ordered dishes was not included in our take out package. Better you check it out before leaving the parking lot. Update: food taste is not consistent. The biryani this time was way more spicy and a lot less and low quality meat in it. Same with another mutton dish.

Food - each item in buffet was prepared with perfection. The taste and quality of the food, was superb. I had to wait 10 min for naan, but they brought me fresh Kulcha naan hot off the pan. The wait was totally worth it. Service - I spoke to owner/manager, he was super nice guy. The staff worked extremely hard to get tables ready and consistently getting emptied plates off the tables. Please please please ?? TIP these guys generously. They deserve every penny. This restaurant is a must stop if you are in the Bay area. I will sure be visiting this place many years to come, if God allows it. This restaurant is in my Top all time favorite in US. Thank you for the Food?? 2022 review : If you are planning to dine as Single person, please avoid this restaurant. I waited almost 30 minutes for the table and I saw 2 different couple who came after me got a table ahead of me. I asked them how long will it be for a table. They said they don’t know and they are still trying to find a table for 1 person. I finally got frustrated and left. There is no doubt these people are biased. I was very disappointed.

I must commend the waiter for taking special care to make sure that the butter chicken we ordered for my 4-year-old son was not spicy. Had to wait for some time to get a seat at 10pm on a Friday night but the service was quick and food was really tasty. We had Brundavan Paneer Biryani and samosas and both of them tasted really good. It was the best biriyani I ever had in 29 years of my life. I am basically from Kerala, and we have very good biriyanis, but this was like another level. From then onwards when ever my husband visits me in Vancouver he brings me a Biriyani from here.?? And we do take out every time I visits him here. Day before yesterday I dined in here for first time. The restaurent is very very clean and ambiance is also very good. (Bonus: they plays all my fav tamil songs ) HIGHLIGHT: The food tasted 100 times tastier when we did had it there. The taste and quality is very consistent. We were served by a guy named PRESTON, Best service we ever had in a restaurant. The way he serves the food and the happiness on his face while giving the food will fills our heart. He was so kind and polite. We even went the next day to try some new item descided not to have biriyani and haleem which was our staple. This day also we were lucky to be served by PRESTON. We tried appollo fish , mulagu bhaji and lacha parata OMG, how they make everything tastes this good? I have worked as waitress before and I know how it feels when people dine it just before closing. We went there pretty late. (Which we should not have done) Even at 11.30 working long PRESTON had the same energy. And smile on his face while serving. The kindness and love in his talk filled our hearts. Next time we are ready to wait until we get a table served by PRESTON ?? I want to write more but stopping here. Thanks ????

Brundavanams special gongura paneer biryani was not up to the hype in fact the biryani didn’t taste like biryani something was missing. But the veg dum biryani was too good, this gave a little better satisfaction from the other dishes.

Rated 5.0 Quality of food was good. Laccha paratha actually had so many lacchas. Amazing! Tandoori roti and butter naan was also good enough. Gongura chicken curry and gobhi Manchurian are my recommendations. Paneer lababdar could have been a little spicier. Food was not excessively oily or high on salt. Would definitely revisit. Clean. We enjoyed the naan and chicken gravy, it was well made and was tasty. Biriyanis were a bit underwhelming, as the taste was average.

Rated 5.0 Don't miss the weekend lunch buffets here. They have a great selection of chicken and fish appetizers, and amazing mutton briyani. The nonveg curries are great too. Sometimes they offered dosa or appam as part of buffet, sometimes they don't. The nonveg curries taste better with dosa or appam than naan. The downside is the long wait time when you go between 12-1:30 pm. You might have to wait at least 20 mins. Sometimes there's no one at the front desk to add you to the waiting list and that could be frustrating as well.

My friend has a severe food allergy (nuts), and he was not only told which dishes to avoid: the server actually marked the labels above the buffet trays with a circled N so he wouldn't forget when going back for a second plate. Fresh naan brought directly to our table, also great.

Their mostly know for their chicken/ mutton appetizer and biryani’s which was really good. Couple of tips: 1. If you are heading for a lunch buffet be there before 12:30pm as it gets pretty crowded and the wait times would be higher. 2. And if you have party of 8 or more there is only 2 options since most of them are seating for 4 people. Buffet is priced at $23 with tax per person, which is higher but that’s new norm across many Indian buffets in Bay Area these days. Update 2: They have amazing paneer biryani here, it’s perfectly blended with paneer.

Also ordered their stuffed mirchi which was well made and had the right spice level. Convenient location with plenty of parking space. If you are a vegetarian would highly recommend their paneer biryani.

The first time my colleague and I ate at this excellent restaurant, I was sure I would go back again and again. From that perspective, Brundavan positively impacted my trip experience by making me feel at home with food. The cuisine is authentic coastal Andhra/Hyderabadi and North Indian, with homemade spices and other ingredients. I spoke to the chefs, with a thorough understanding of Indian food attitudes. I ate six meals in all during my trip:) Let me rate them here for you: Potlam Chicken - It's easily among the best chicken curries I've eaten - even in India. It's spicy, and the andhra flavor is rich. 5/5. Fish Fry: Nothing can beat a crispy fried fish with Telugu masalas in coastal Andhra style. Yum! 4.9/5. Full Fish appetiser: When you are at Brindavan, you cannot miss eating fish. They excel at it. 4.9/5. Hyderabadi Biryani and Patthar ka Ghost: This one's a real surprise. While the fish fry and potlam chicken were cooked in Andhra flavours, Biryani and Patthar were made in perfect Hyderabadi style. Biryani lovers will have fun! 4.8/5. Dal Rice: After a binging on meats, the simple dal rice provides the much-needed relief to the tummy. It's juicy and yummy. 5/5. Rated 4.0 Chicken chettinaad, murg mushallam, Natukodi curry is super. Double ka meetha is epic. We ordered Malai kofta and what food color in the curry. We can literally use that to paint. I mean washed hands 4 to 6 times still the residue on fingertips. Seems like the thumb was deep in the curry ??(reference: image) But I think the color was not just for kofta. In general these guys use a lot of food color which is of concern. Buffet is not that great and priced heavy. The icecream vending machine vends like poop. Guys, please fix it. The mango icecream tastes like some artificial syrup. Gulab jamun tastes like its made out of bread.

Tandoori roti is great as long as you don't mind it being a bit buttery, amazing taste with its flavors, as long as you have it when it is hot. Plain Dal is really good. Chicken biriyani is great, a bit oily, but great taste. Nice place, decently good ambience, people there are nice.

In all of this stretch of El Camino, Brundavan has the best food. Also try their prawn fry, and Gongura chicken curry. And Andhra mutton curry. Simply excellent.

But i see lack of persistence in people that a single dish speaks about the reputation of restaurant. This messy bread surpassed the grill, skipped from eyes of the sous chef, head-chef and the waiter/waitress to the dining table. None noticed it prior serving to customer. I notice vibrations in my gut and darn hungry, hence pulled of edible parts from break and enjoyed with entree. My bottom line is don’t expect customers to come back with complaints, better make it right in first go, this leads to saving everyone’s crucial time spent in the restaurant and a happy customer with a successful business with splendid feedback & ratings. Rated 4.0 Great ambience. Looks very new. The servers were very polite and quick. We ordered mango lassi which was great, kadhai paneer and laccha paratha which was okay and veg dum biryani which was exceptional. Good hygiene as well

Rated 5.0 We were on our way to a different restaurant for lunch and happen to see this place on El Camino Real. We decided to try this place immediately. Very friendly staff and decent decors with booth seats. We ordered the mutton potlam biryani, chettinad chicken curry, lemon soda, tandoori roti and Lacha Paratha. All the items were very tasty and delicious. Not too oily and not too salty. Just the right amount. Our waiter was very friendly, casual and made sure that our orders and needs were met in a timely manner. They have weekend buffet that we will definitely visit. The price was also reasonable. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Rated 4.0 Good food. Friendly staff with a sense of humor, especially the young man from Hyderabad. Clean place. Nice interiors. The only thing is, the staff didn’t wear any mask. While serving the food, they were making pleasant small talk, but after CoVd, my thoughts were, ‘Hopefully his spit doesn’t spray all over my food.’ Other than that, it’s a nice place to have delicious food.
