My daughter has been learning Bharathanatyam in Khushi dance academy for the past 7 years. We are very lucky to have Mrs. Sonal Jhaveri as her guru. She is the very dedicated teacher I have ever met. Nowadays Its very rare to find the teachers who are not money minded. Mrs Sonal Jhaveri is the one who is dedicated to the art she is teaching but not money minded. We have moved to Edison 4 years back. Even then we are still continuing the classes in khushi dance academy just because we don’t want to miss such a great teacher. Even in this pandemic she is keeping the classes and students very active & learning oriented. I would highly recommend khushi dance academy to the kids who are willing to learn bharathanatyam.

I have been a student at Khushi Dance Academy for a little over six years now, and I have loved every single moment of my experience. The dance instructor takes her time with students, guiding us along our journeys as dancers. There are many opportunities for you to grow as a dancer and as an individual through class itself, performance opportunities, and interaction with students of all levels. The teacher is understanding and looks out for the growth of her students, so long as students play their part as well. This is a place where I've seen children not only enjoy putting their passions for dance into practice, but also a place where I've seen them grow into respectful, disciplined, kind, and talented individuals.

My daughter Vaani has been learning dance ( semi classical and contemporary ) from Nritya creations from past 2 years. Her teachers Ms Serita and Ms Aayushma are excellent and very creative . We can see a lot of improvement in her dance with the technique used by the teachers. This has helped them to win competitions too!

Our daughter has trained in western dancing for several years. However, her love of Bollywood songs and movies led to her affinity with eastern dancing. She didn’t want to focus on just Bollywood dancing but wanted to pay homage to her South Indian roots and incorporate some form of classical dancing along with western dance techniques. Nritya Creations (NC)offered just that, an Indo-Contemporary class that incorporated Classical, Lyrical, and Jazz. NC and its teachers have provided a wonderful outlet for our daughter to perfect her technique and learn the art form. She has become even more confident and poised over the past 3 years, all the while having fun.

I have been dancing with Nritya Creations since I was 9 years old, and attending the Bharatantyam and Indo-contemporary classes have truly allowed me to grow into the dancer I have become today. The emphasis that is placed on having flawless technique in every dance form has been especially helpful, and the lessons that I have learned throughout the years is something I know I will carry with me in the future, as well. This is more than a review of Khushi Dance Academy with almost 4 years of my daughter's association with this dance institute.My daughter has innate inclination to dance from very very young age, we took her at age 4 to this institute.Guru Sonal identified the same inclination in her and so we started our journey with Khushi Dance Academy. I'm proud of my daughter for where she is today learning this great art Bharathanatyam, from this Dance institute. Though we have logistical challenges location wise, we did not find another teacher like Guru Sonal.(period) In few words - Dedication, Passion, Discipline are taught in this institute's dance training, which carry into the student's personal development as well, especially for girls at young age, which are strong Personality/Character development traits to remain through their adult life and much later in their lives. Needless to say, this is the standard of the training from Guru Sonal, who is doing great work of carrying this dance form and tradition to future generations, here in United States. I look forward to my daughter's growth in Bharathanatyam under the guidance of Guru Sonal for many years to come. Thanking Guru Sonal, always.

Raiya is now 14 and she has more confidence in front of an audience than most adults as far as performing whether it be a dance, acting, singing. It stems from an early start with Nritya Creations. The teachers are dedicated and educate the children and build confidence to perform and execute in front of an audience. We believe that this aspect is under appreciated but really impacts the children. Tatyana takes personal interest in each student, has been very patient correcting mistakes minor (and not minor). Excellent dance choreography as well.

They focus on your mistakes and provide proper guidance to overcome it. There is such a wonderful balance of disipline, fun and an extraordinary self confidence in each and every dancer.

This dance school is one of the best in the area. I have brought my daughter to many other schools over the past 4 years but none of them have shown as much improvement as Nritya Creations. My daughter has so much fun in class and the teachers also work with me to help my child improve. My 6 yr old goes here for Bharatnatyam classes..The teacher, Paromita is a multi-talented.She is very patient with children,given the different ages of toddlers that she teaches.She thrives to teach them with perfection. The fees charged also seems worth..whether it is the amount they learn or the various stage performances the children give..lucky my daughter who gets an exposure to dance through her.

My Kid is learning bharatanatyam for more than one year and i am really happy about Guru Mrs.Paromita for her dedication towards all kids. She creates a very good platform for kids to show and improve their talents.

Paromita is a very dedicated, passionate and hardworking dancer. Not only that, she is a very good teacher also, which, in my honest opinion, is a rare combination!She makes sure all the students perform dance perfectly. She pursues each and every one of us till we do it technically correct. She has got great level of patience to dance with numerous children.Through several dance shows, that the institute is invited to, students build stage courage and confidence. Apart from that, the location of the class is a plus point and the fees is very reasonable.Overall, a very good institute if you want to pursue your dance hobby and even take it to the next level!

My daughter has been learning Bharatnatyam at Nrityalina for over a year and I couldn't have been happier. The owner/instructor, Paromita, is not only a great dancer but a very warm and humble person that reflects clearly in her teaching style. I have seen her conduct classes for different age groups and it's amazing to see she can be so patient and yet get the best out of her students. She can moderate her class based on the child's age, ability and temperament. Pays specific attention to detail and makes sure children learn the basics of the dance form correctly. I highly recommended the teacher and her dance institute!
