Rated 5.0 The staff is very friendly, and the facility is very nice and convenient with their hours, but I do not plan on continuing my dental care here. Even with insurance, my bill was over $3300 out of pocket, they don't make it very clear to you what your payment options are and I had to do my own research on payment plans. I wish I had gotten a second opinion in terms of a treatment plan, because no other, affordable options, were presented to me. I now have pain in a tooth that I had extensive, and ridiculously expensive, work done on which I did not have before. When I asked about it the new pain was basically blamed on the fact that I grind my teeth (which I have always done) and was convinced to pay another $400+ on a night guard. Communication to patients is also severely lacking in this clinic. It was not communicated to me that part of my treatment plan, which included crowns, would require me to come back in 2 weeks for permanent crowns, as temporary ones would be placed at the initial appointment. Not only was that not communicated, but I received no discharge instructions (I work in healthcare and if nothing is provided in writing, it is always at least verbally communicated). With the temporary crowns, which I had not been informed about, I was told not to floss and that was it. My coworker, who luckily happened to be a former dental assistant, was the one that informed me I should eat soft foods to avoid cracking the temporary crown since it was made of plastic. I was given the run-around trying to pick up the night guard I ordered because I had to do it when my dentist, Dr Ha, was there, for some reason. Dr Ha wasn't even in clinic that evening and had called out sick, which had not been communicated to me until the dental assistant kept mentioning some other dentist and I had to verify she had the right patient since I had never heard of this dentist. I tried the night guard on, sat in a chair for 3 minutes, told the dental assistant it felt fine, and was sent on my way. The silver lining is that I've been motivated to take extra good care of my teeth now in order to avoid coming back to the dental salon. Unless you've got money to use excessively, I would look somewhere else.

Rated 5.0 I was greeted by a very professional front office staff. I did not have to wait long before being taken to the exam room. Dr. Stec and his assistant LIsa did an amazing job of putting my mind at ease. They explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. They also made sure that I new exactly what to expect before they did anything. I loved the fact that Dr. Stec sat down with me to go over my X-Rays and discuss everything that needed to be done. I also walked out of the office with a statement stating what the insurance was going to pay and what my out of pocket was. I will be coming to Dr. Stec for all of my dental needs from now on. I will highly recommend Dr. Stec and the staff at Dental Salon to anyone who needs a dentist.
