Meeker Sur was the DJ at Diwali Fest NJ in Maplewood on 10/20/25 ands they did an amazing job with the music playlist and keeping the crowd grooving!

Vinay and Aparna performed at my mother's 75th surprise birthday party last month. They made the event very lively. We had informed them that Dev Anand was one of the favorite actors of my mom. Vinay did some mimicry acting like Dev Anand and also told some stories around him which were unknown for most audience. This was in addition to their singing and came as another surprise for my mom and all guests. I had some games planned during the event which did not happen because the party did run somewhat out of schedule. However, I would still give them 5 stars since the main intention of the games was to engage guests and they were kept engaged anyway. We got good feedback from several guests that the party ran very nice and a lot of credit does go to Vinay and Aparna. We would highly recommend the duo.

Vinay and Aparna know how to light up a party! Recently they managed the sequencing of performances in our event and it was great! The whole 4-hour felt fluid and entertaining. Both are great singers and Vinay can do some impersonations as well. lol. So I definitely recommend them for entertainment in your events!

I can’t express how great Krish was to me, my family, and everyone in the event . For my sisters wedding we had 3 DJ’s who have ditched on us and one on the actual wedding day .. with only about 3 hours before the event we had to contact Krish .. without hesitation he couldn’t find one of his DJ that we’re available and him being almost 2 hours away managed to take over and come himself . Krish was the DJ for my brother’s Indian wedding ceremony. He also provided the Dhol person for the Baraat. The Dhol person and music that played during the Baraat were perfect. It was so much fun! It was executed flawlessly! Everyone was so impressed. For the wedding, Krish was really great. He made recommendations for other vendors we needed when I asked for his assistance. I don’t know how I would have found everyone I needed without his help! We did have a hard time getting a hold of him at times, which caused us some stress and anxiety. (I believe it’s because he’s so busy.) But he clearly had everything under control for our event. In retrospect, we had nothing to worry about. He answered all of our questions and was very easy to work with. We left the music choice largely up to him as we had no expertise or knowledge in the matter. The songs and music he chose for the different parts of the ceremony were perfect. And he had clearly spoken to the priest to coordinate with him ahead of time. Our event was a huge success. Krish did our wedding in October. He absolutely killed it! He has a vast array of equipment that allows for tons of mix and match options with lighting, fog, monograms and so much more! He was always extremely professional in every aspect. Answers questions in a reasonable time. He let us run with the playlist but also had a great assortment of music to add to what we wanted. Krish Entertainment knows how to bring the excitement and keep the party going. His MC skills are too notch from introductions to special dances, speeches, and all other special portions of the ceremony. Everything ran seamlessly. My wife and I cannot thank Krish enough for being such a huge part of our big day and making so many parts of it possible. We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. I cannot speak highly enough about DJ Kabir and his team at Desi Beatz. We hired Desi Beatz for our Mehndi and Wedding this past weekend and both events were flawless- music, lights, everything. DJ Kabir is a very kind, patient, and professional DJ whose vibes are exactly what a bride needs on their big day(s). His team is absolutely wonderful too. DJ Kabir was very responsive in the whole planning process, shared great ideas for music and other special portions of our events, and truly made our events so memorable. We had a fusion Pakistani/American wedding and he was able to perfectly combine music from both cultures and read the crowd for the type of music they wanted to hear all night long. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor.
