Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

We hired Shivish Entertainment for our wedding and let me say, they absolutely blew us away! They truly made this weekend unforgettable and something we will remember forever. Would give an 100/10 if possible! The music and the mixing was all amazing from DJ Vish. From the Sangeet, the Baraat, and to the Reception, all of the music was absolutely incredible and the mixing was spotless. It really set the tone for the entire day and night. The music during the ceremony was on point and we really appreciated that they were able to execute it without much guidance. We got so many compliments about how good the music was for all the events and it made the reception especially fun for everyone. The mixing between Bollywood songs and American music was perfectly executed. We could not have asked for a better weekend of music! We really appreciated that MC Riju was able to bring the energy for the Baraat that early in the morning and it really helped encourage everyone to dance and get hype (hard to do that early in the morning). The reception was also absolutely incredible and we could not have asked for a better hyped night. When we said hyped we did not expect the chair raising hype which was so amazing to see so many people, even aunties and uncles, raising their chairs participating! Riju also helped ensure the smooth transitions with the performances and also helped keep the dance floor dancing! Everyone at Shivish entertainment was an absolute joy to work with and they truely made the process very easy on us. We’d also like to plug a couple of add-ons that really made the night from Shivish that we are highly recommending others get. 1. Instant photobooth- Guests take 4 different pictures and it would automatically print out a photo strip. This was such a hit and our guests were lining up to take pictures the entire night. They also printed out a seperate copy and gave us a photo book of pictures as a keepsake! 2. Starry dance floor- Guest loved the unique aspect of it and it looked absoltuely breaktaking 3. Uplighting- Please get for any wedding, Shivish knocked it out the park with the uplighting and set the mood

Vish was an amazing DJ for our wedding/reception. We heard from many of our guests that they really enjoyed our DJ. We received more compliments for our DJ than any of our other vendors. Our dance floor was packed until the very end of the night largely due to Vishs talents.

We recently hired them to cover a holiday party event for 60 guests. It was not any special occasion so we needed minimal lighting setup and DJ. If you are hiring them make sure DJ Shiv is covering the event, if not then your money spent will not be worth it. The DJ they sent for 1st half of my event completely failed to pick on audience pulse. I had even shared my playlist but he was completely off. Number of my guests asked if I could put my own playlist which you don’t want to hear after hiring professional DJ. BUT second half of the event DJ Shiv came and he was immediately able to change the mood. Everyone gravitated towards the dance floor and they had a ball. So make sure you don’t get their backup DJ and Shiv covers it.

We hired DJ Rahul for one of our events. While he arrived about an hour later than scheduled, once he got started the music selection was great and fit the vibe of our event well. He was friendly, and easy to work with. Overall, a good experience with good music.

The music and the dancing were easily the HIGHLIGHT of my wedding day. Planning a wedding during a pandemic can be quite disconcerting. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

DJ Kashif made our daughter’s graduation ceremony a memorable party. It’s a late post happened last summer but still people talk about it. The music the light and the ambiance DJ K created was amazing. People danced their heart out, music was for every age. I will highly recommend DJ k for your next event.

This crew was incredible! We’d recommend them to absolutely anyone. They had the dance floor going all night and went above and beyond what we could have expected. This team was more than just a vendor for us; by the end of the weekend, they were like family and were a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. We hired them for our two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA, including DJ’ing, MC’ing, lighting, and a dholi for both days. We had three meetings with them before the wedding where we talked through our timeline, our specific music selections, and what genres of music we wanted for the dance floor. They were very thorough, and even though a few songs we discussed didn’t get played, they covered pretty much everything we asked for. The booking process was also very straightforward and flexible. They were really responsive and made suggestions based on their experience but were clearly not trying to upsell us when doing so. They also have a ton of experience with White’s Ferry Manor, the venue where we had our ceremony and reception. What really went above and beyond was the presence and energy this crew brought to our wedding, especially DJ Shiv! Shiv was on the phone with us at 2am the night before our wedding after our decorator cancelled on us. He and DJ Sameer helped us find another decorator in the middle of the night, just hours before decoration set up was supposed to begin. If you’re reading this review and considering ShiVish, you will be so happy with choosing them.

Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. I need to give a huge shoutout to the heart and soul of the party – Rohit, the incredible emcee. This guy knows how to throw a party! His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. Trust me, if you want your party to reach legendary status, you've got to have Rohit leading the charge. Bottom line is if you're dreaming of a wedding in which the DJ can come in and play to the vibe of your family and friends, then ShiVish Entertainment is who you want to go with. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. We were so impressed with the work of Vish at our wedding and reception. They truly helped make the reception a night to remember. From the moment we met them, we knew they were the perfect fit for our wedding. We had heard from others that this team was great to work with and decided to go with them after multiple recommendations. Vish was able to read the crowd and play the perfect music for everyone to enjoy. They were able to keep the dance floor packed all night and even got our guests who don't normally dance up and moving. They were also able to take our requests and incorporate them into the playlist seamlessly. Shivish Entertainment is so easy to work with! We had our sangeet, baraat and ceremony dj services through them. The sangeet was absolutely amazing, the emcee was phenomenal and the music was perfect. Also the uplighting really added to the entire ambience on the event. Everything came out exactly like i wanted it to and it was super easy to communicate with them during the entire event. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the baraat, everything went well with that too! ShiVish Ent was a great team to work with for our wedding events! They were responsive and professional throughout the process. We were particular in looking for a DJ that could play a decent mix of Telugu/South Indian songs as well as the usual Bollywood and western songs, and DJ Vish delivered. It rained during the groom's baraat, but the team did their best to accommodate. The MC was really great. The add-ons we had like sparklers, fog machine, and up-lights tied the whole event together.

ShiVish Entertainment (DJ Vish and MC Riju) was incredible at our wedding! DJ Vish met with us ahead of time to understand what type of music and vibe we wanted for the night and he absolutely nailed it at the reception. MC Riju was the total hypeman of the night and got our crowd on their feet and excited throughout the entire reception. Our guests are still talking about how much fun our reception was and DJ Vish and MC Riju played a huge part in making that happen. They had people from 20 years old to 70 years old on the dance floor all night long and had the whole place singing and dancing along. Dj ShiVish’s team of Rahull and Bosh and especially host Riju make an absolutely incredible team—from the first point of connection they were responsive, professional and prepared. Our family could upload music interests could easily upload music on their website and they also worked with us for editing certain traditional songs. From throwback jams to current artists- great mix and clean! My family is already looking forward to scheduling another event just so we can have them as DJ and Rohit as MC. He is the one of the best out there to bring a party to life. Their dhol player Arshdip was also crazy good in both the Bahrat and wedding reception, and the team also accommodated coordination of a silent disco setup which I purchased with a different vendor. We had ShiVish DJ our wedding and reception last month and were blown away with their mixes and energy. Shivish entertainment did our Sangeet event in Richmond, VA on Feb 14th , 2024. They did a great job and kept the guests dancing and entertained all evening. Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

DJ Shiva and MC Riju did our October 26th wedding and they were phenomenal! This company invited us to their office early on and met with us to make sure we were comfortable and they were so professional throughout the process. MC Riju brings a great energy to the room and our guests raved about his emcee-ing skills - several of which wanted his contact after the event for their own events. DJ Shiv is very professional and took our music requests into account during his set. Everyone had a great time. Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

Had an amazing experience with ShiVish Entertainment recently. DJ Vish and MC Riju provided the entertainment at my cousin's graduation party recently and they did a phenomenal job. Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing.
