About Dr Asha Rijhsinghani MD

Dr. Asha Rijhsinghani is an Albany Med Faculty Physician in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She specializes in providing care for high risk pregnancies, including fetal diagnostic treatments such as chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, fetal blood sampling and therapeutic treatments, such as fetal transfusions and shunts. Dr. Rijhsinghani takes special interest in treating birth defects as well as fetal anomalies. In order to provide comprehensive care, her treatment approach incorporates pediatric specialists, neonatal care, maternal fetal medicine, geneticists, fetal diagnosis nurses and social workers. Dr. Rijhsinghani a national officer for the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Global Health Committee. She was also voted Best Doctors of America: US Top Doctors in 2013 and 2014. Dr. Rijhsinghani has earned many honors, awards and special recognitions throughout her career. She also has a number of publications, book chapter contributions, obstructs, presentations and contributed content to book chapters and posters.
