About Friendswood Driving School

Friendswood Driving School Students must complete 7 behind-the-wheel lessons. Each lesson is two hours long. Each student will drive for an hour then observe another student drive for an hour. Once a student has completed the required 32 hours of classroom and 14 hours of behind-the-wheel, has held their permit for a minimum of 6 months, and is at least 16 or older they then may go back to the DPS office to take their final driving test. After passing the driving test they will then be issued their driver's license. Students who have already completed the 32 hours of Classroom Instruction at another driving school can enroll with us to complete the required 14 hours of Behind-the-Wheel Instruction. Our students have the possibility to save an additional 5% discount on insurance premiums. Cost: $25.00
