At Pearl Orthodontics, Before undergoing three years of specialty training in Orthodontics in Florida at Jacksonville University (Home of Dolphins), Dr. Patil completed two years of Fellowship in Craniofacial Research at the Arthur. A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. During that time, Dr. Patil actively volunteered on cleft lip and palate missions with Rotaplast.With over ten years of experience in General Dentistry in Silicon Valley California since 2001, Dr. Patil especially enjoys working with children and believes that positive first-visits to the Orthodontist create a lifetime dedication to oral health. Dr. Patil is a current California Association of Orthodontist's Communications Committee member, where consumer awareness for early orthodontic intervention (age 7) is promoted. She is also associated with Arthur. A. Dugoni School of Dentistry as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. She is certified by American Board Orthodontics, which only a few are certified. Being involved on Medical mission trips for treatment of patients with cleft lip and palate, Dr. Patil pursues her research interests around prevention of Cleft Lip and Palate.

- Does a child's growth affect orthodontic treatment
  
  Orthodontic treatment and a child's growth can complement each other. By timing orthodontic treatment to predictable stages of dental development, the orthodontist may be able to take advantage of your child's growth and development. Some problems that can be treated quite well in a growing child may require corrective surgery if treated after growth has occurred.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child visit and orthodontist by age seven, unless a problem is evident earlier. Rated 5.0 I absolutely love it here. Just a couple months ago I moved to Fremont and I was in search of a Orthodontist. I was recommended by my dentist to go to Pearl Orthodontist and The doctor here and her team have exceeded all my expectations. At Pearl Orthodontist they treat you more than just a patient they remember your name and they are just invested or even more into your dreams smile as you are. I am already seeing improvements in my smile and I cannot wait to see the the end results with them. I absolutely love it here.

Rated 5.0 I’ve had a wonderful experience at Pearl Orthdontics! I got my braces on pretty late, in my senior year of high school, and prior to treatment my teeth were in a terrible state. My baby teeth had not fallen out and I had to get multiple surgeries for teeth that were not coming out due to my crowded mouth.
