About Suzie's Swim School

Since 1994, Suzie's Swim School in Newcastle, Washington has specialized in teaching swimming lessons to children as young as three years old. Using the floatation method, we build great swimmers through self-confidence and hard work. Swim lessons are semi-private to give personal attention to all swimmers. Each class has two swim instructors and a maximum of four students. Our indoor pool is kept at 90 degrees year-round and has a salt-based sanitation system. Each class is 30 minutes and limited to no more than four children in each class. There are two instructors per class. This enables us to give each child the individual attention they deserve. Only one class is taught at a time so the children can focus on what's being taught, not on what's going on at the other end of the pool. For toddlers we recommend two lessons each week because at that age, regular repetition gets the best results. We offer a fun, caring family environment. Both children and parents develop a wonderful camaraderie as they return week after week to swim with us. Many enduring friendships got their start right here.
