Abhyaasa offers many workshops and special series to deepen your practice of yoga. Topics and times vary. Please check our website for details. Guided by the Sutras of Patanjali and early Vedic teachings, our classes accentuate the meditative and empowering nature of yoga by teaching practices that build internal heat; synchronize movement and breath; harness energetic polarities to generate strength and flexibility; and facilitate movement through our lives with grace, awareness, peace and compassion. The Abhyaasa studio offers a gathering place to share insights and deepen personal practice-- a safe and supportive community for all ages, abilities and levels of experience. Through abhyaasa, dedicated practice, we find stillness, one-pointedness and centeredness throughout our lives to free the consciousness from limitations.
