Primarily from India, now in Virginia, learnt 3 years of Hindustani Classical Vocal from Gandharv MahaVidyalay, Mumbai, India. I like to start with practice of basic notes (swaras) and simple alankaras before I can go to easy (or difficult) ragas. Depending on students' interests I can also teach light classical songs, bhajans, old and new Hindi film songs. I can play the keyboard, harmonium and tabla and I am willing to teach the same.
