I help people of all ages and backgrounds find joy and growth through the beauty of sitar. Will Marsh is currently accepting new students and facilitating group classes in the Bay Area. Classes are suitable for all ages and levels, from absolute beginner to experienced players. In addition to sitar instruction, I also offer high-quality instruments from India. BIO Will Marsh has been a dedicated teacher and performer of Hindustani classical sitar for over 15 years. He holds his MFA in Sitar Performance from the California Institute of the Arts and has studied with some of the world’s greatest musicians including Ustad Aashish Khan (eldest son of Ali Akbar Khan), Roshan Bhartiya, Tushar Bhatia and Shakir Khan. Currently, Will resides in the California Bay Area as an active teacher, performer and recording artist.
