About Yogi Kali Om

Kali Om began teaching yoga in 1998, and is the senior teacher of Dharma Yoga in Chicago. She's also a columnist for Yoga Chicago magazine. Kali Om, ERYT-500, teaches Dharma Mittra Yoga, traditional ashtanga vinyasa yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, back care yoga, yoga for anxiety and depression and therapeutics. She is a disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra and was a direct student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois from 2000 to 2008. She is the senior teacher of Dharma Yoga in Chicago, having completed his 200, 500 and 800-hour courses. She is also certified in Yoga Therapeutics, Senior's Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and Hormone Yoga Therapy for Menopause. She has also completed teacher trainings with Suddha Weixler and Manju Pattabhi Jois. Kali has made five trips to Mysore, South India, where she spent over ten months studying with ashtanga vinyasa guru Pattabhi Jois and his family. She has also spent two months studying with Pattabhi Jois in America. She's also studied with a long list of other master instructors.
