About Bethel Nursing & Rehab Center

Founded in 1911, Bethel was named after a floating chapel, the Bethel Ship John Wesley, which had docked in New York Harbor in 1845 to help newly arrived Swedish immigrants. This ship was later replaced by the New Bethel Ship John Wesley. The Springvale Inn, 125-unit assisted senior living apartment complex in Croton-on-Hudson; and the Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Croton-on-Hudson, a 200-bed, state-of-the-art facility. The Continuum also includes community-oriented programs such as Adult Day Services, Home Care, Respite Care, and acute, in-patient Hospice care. With a dedicated staff of 500, Bethel provides housing and health care for seniors in the immediate and outlying communities and, as such, has become the area's leader in senior care.
