Our wedding ceremony and Just Married Jam would have been incomplete without there wonderful DJ performance.

My sister and I hosted my brothers 50th birthday party in our back yard and Desi Beatzs was our DJ. He was the absolutely best! Awesome music, awesome equipments and just a fun guy! He lit up our backyard and brought a lot of our decor come to light! ??. I’d recommend him for any and all kind of events, because he knows how to get the moves out of you!!

It has taken me a day or two to write this review as I was busy tending to my feet. Tending? - you may ask. Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ?? Thanks Matt for keeping the party rolling and making our special couple celebrating their silver jubilee, dance to your carefully selected peppy numbers. You went above and beyond and turned the DJ service to karaoke without skipping a beat. Trust me you will be getting a lot of calls for your excellent service for quiet a number of milestone celebrations coming up in our group of friends. Once again thank you for everything you did to make our party a major success. ??

?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

What a fantastic event of 75th birthday celebration was handled by Mehekte Sur ??. Vinay and Aparna Kamulkar were the singers. They both did an amazing job at this surprised birthday party held in Wikesberre, PA on October 5, 2024. They are really fantastic singers. They work with you from beginning to end and are able to accommodate all the requests to the full satisfaction. Vinay is also a wonderful MC. Attended a Bollywood theme party hosted by them. It was amazing how well they kept crowd engaged !! Especially due to the variations in age groups and demographics… they’re the best ??

Hands down the best DJ/host we’ve had at any event! The baby shower games were so creative—photo trivia, green light red light, baby charades—each one was a total crowd-pleaser and nothing like the usual stuff. Everyone was laughing, engaged, and genuinely having a blast. The live singing was the cherry on top. Guests are still talking about how fun and different it was. Highly recommended! ??????

My wife and I have been attending every Valentine event where this amazing Jodi performs. We saw them in action 7 years back and were totally blown away with the quality and range of their offering. Nothing gets better than to see a real life couple sing at a Valentine event. We cannot recommend them enough and they keep getting better and better with each passing year.

We had DJ Kash for our wedding and he was AMAZING! He kept the energy perfect, the dance floor packed, and the music flowing all night. Super professional, fun, and so easy to work with. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the DJ was. Highly recommend!

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding events. From the start, DJ Kash was professional, easy to work with and made sure everything aligned perfectly with our vision. He did an incredible job reading the crowd and adjusting the vibe in real time. DJ Kash also handled multiple events for us and delivered consistently at each one, and handled more than just the open dance floor. His ability to create the right atmosphere for every moment and event truly set him apart, and he played a huge role in making our wedding celebrations unforgettable.

Raj and his team are absolutely incredible. Raj was so accommodating with all of our requests and last-minute changes, making the entire process stress-free. You can tell he truly loves what he does — we hardly had to give any instructions because he just understood our vision and brought it to life. He tailored the music exactly to our preferences while also reading the crowd perfectly, keeping the energy high throughout. What really stood out was how flawlessly he handled all six of our events. We had different artists performing at each one, yet we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because Raj took care of it all — from coordinating with performers, to managing the sound and lighting, to making sure everything flowed seamlessly. Even now, when I go back and watch the videos, I feel the same emotions I felt in those moments because of how powerful his sound and lighting setup was. DJ Raj is epitome of professionalism. From the moment we retained him for my daughter's wedding to the culmination, it has been nothing but just a fabulous experience for all. He has the best sound system, lighting options and an amazing DJ Mannan who got everyone on the dance floor non-stop with his trendy music both on Sangeet and Reception night. All our 400+ guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and were raving about it as everyone danced to their heart's content. Raj did an amazing job MC'ing both during Sangeet and Reception and ensured everyone danced to the tunes of his dholi and music during the Baraat. He executed the program as drafted to perfection. His professionalism clearly showed on the day of the events as they knew the exact tunes to play during Sangeet to the day of reception. We as hosts didn't have to worry about any details and he executed flawlessly per the plan. We now have lined him up for all the weddings in our family :)

I had the pleasure of working with Raj and team this fall for my wedding and they made sure that our friends and family of all backgrounds stayed on the dance floor all night and every night! The atmosphere they created was amazing and lively. our event was just perfect and enjoyable only because of them. Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Jeetu was amazing! We had an interracial wedding with a Hindu ceremony in Asheville, NC and he assisted with a wide range of tasks over the course of several hours. He first assisted with tying our safas (headgear) for several men in advance of the wedding ceremony. He then played the dhol (indian musical instrument) for our baraat (indian wedding processional with dancing) prior to our ceremony. Finally, he played the tablas (indian musical instrument) during our cocktail hour set list and even did an impromptu collaboration with violin/cello instrumentalists for 2 more Hindi songs. We could not be happier with his performance and broad musical range!

Di- Parth and MC- Ajay were a great team to work with for our Diwali event. In addition to Bollywood music, Parth played really great Garba songs that held up the party together. His Bollywood songs+mixing was really good and everyone had fun dancing to the beats. Ajay-MC was very accommodating to our needs with games. He kept the crowed engaged and involved with the games and other different activities. Very friendly and easy to work with. Definitely give these young boys and chance!

I am an Indian bride and I worked with Desi Beatz Entertainment for our 3 Indian wedding events hosted in downtown DC. Along with Kabir as our lead DJ for all of our events, Desi Beatz also provided audio, uplighting, emceee and dhol services, and our photobooth. We decided to work with Desi Beatz early on in our planning process, and from the beginning, Kabir went above and beyond to support us. In addition to his own scope, Kabir also sent us recommendations for other wedding vendors; we ended up hiring another vendor based off his glowing recommendation and that vendor was fabulous as well. We couldn’t have asked for more from our experience working with Kabir. He patiently answered our questions about audio and lighting needs at our complex venues, attended multiple venue tours with us as we refined the event details, sent us sample music mixes for us to get a better sense of his DJ style, and cut our dance medley music tracks for us to use at our events. Kabir and his team executed flawlessly at all of our events. They were extremely professional and consistently anticipated the needs of our guests to keep our events lively and our dance floors full. Music was amazing. He helped splicing and mixing our first dance song to the exact way we wanted. Every transitions were on time and on cue. He worked exactly perfect to the timeline and the plan that we build. He also enthusiastically incorporated some of our very niche club music that no one knows about, and pulled it off exceptionally. Once the dance floor opened, the energy never dipped. Seamless song transitions, perfect timing, and the kind of music selection that had every age group on the floor at the same time. He read the room flawlessly and adjusted the vibe like a pro. No awkward gaps, no dead air, no cheesy nonsense. Just straight heat all night. Many of our guests told us that they kept delaying their departure and returning to the dance floor because we kept getting such good songs. Professional, punctual, clean setup, good quality sound sound. His MC also handled every announcement smoothly without hijacking the spotlight, and did a great job building up hype, energy, and directing the flow of the event. We would hire again without thinking twice. What a great DJ MC team.

We had a wonderful 70th Birthday party thanks to Mehekte Sur. Vinay did a great job hosting and singing some of the most popular melodies for the event.

Vinay was awesome. We booked him pretty last minute and were a little worried, but he jumped in right away, helped us build the agenda, and even suggested a grand entrance that set the tone. Throughout the night he kept us on track without it ever feeling rushed, read the room perfectly, and kept everyone engaged with fun games like “Advice for the Couple” Our guests had a great time and so did we. The music and the dancing were easily the HIGHLIGHT of my wedding day. Planning a wedding during a pandemic can be quite disconcerting. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. I would 100% use him again if I ever needed to. The music was phenomenal, bangers all night- and the talent was immense and clear. Thank you so much for making my wedding weekend so memorable!

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

The music the light and the ambiance DJ K created was amazing. People danced their heart out, music was for every age. I will highly recommend DJ k for your next event.

Kabir was amazing with getting a mixed (indian and non-indian) crowd going at our wedding events. All our guests were asking about the DJ. He was the first one onsite for set-up and helped with schedule and gave live recommendations on the day of the events. He is very accommodating with countless calls and meetings as needed and made us all very comfortable the day of each of our events. He went out of this way with helping the decorator and other vendors with set up as well. Kabir is amazing ! He was a last minute booking for our Mendhi in DC and I am so glad we went with him. He made everything feel easy and went above and beyond. You can trust him with eyes closed . He did a great job the day off - We requested house music during cocktail hour and english / hindhi mix for dancing and he killed it. I cant recommend him enough.

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

We used DJ Kash for our wedding sangeet a few weeks ago. He did an excellent job leading the mobile baraat and the sangeet itself too. Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. Kash was professional, communicative, and kind from the day we first reached out, the weeks leading up to the event, the event itself, and even the days following. He executed our detailed timeline very well. We would recommend Kash for future events, especially Indian/American ones.
