We reached out to Matt (Desi Beatz Entertainment) after seeing him perform at a couple of family parties. Matt was responsive to our initial request for quote. He walked us through the process and provided a fair cost for his services. He came out promptly to perform a site survey. On the day of the event Matt was on time and had all his setup ready to go before the guests arrived. Lights, Sound, Music and the Photo Booth were all a hit! Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. DJ Pawan is simply the best. Would give 10 stars if I could. We used his company for DJ, lighting, and emcee services for our Sangeet, baraat, wedding, and reception in Asheville. He was very easy to work with, incredibly responsive, flexible throughout the entire process, and clearly very organized. It was also clear he has a tremendous amount of experience with being a wedding DJ. We wanted a mix of Bollywood, Bhangra, South Indian, hip hop, and pop music which he integrated seamlessly. He also was great at reading the crowd, adjusting appropriately. I will tell you that both nights of our wedding were absolutely lit and that can be largely attributed to Pawan’s mastery of his craft. Many of our friends and family came up to us throughout the night and afterwards to tell us how great the DJ was. On top of it all, the lighting, cold sparklers, smoke machine, and other services he provides added so much to the effects and vibe. He had several options for photo booths as well. Every option he provided us, he was honest and tried to match with what we wanted for our wedding instead of attempting to sell us the most expensive option. Deejay Money was also very great, easy to work with, very nice, and helped to keep the energy up. In summary, there is simply no better choice for your wedding than hiring Pawan’s team. It was one of the best decisions we made.

Our venues can be difficult to work with for vendors, so we ran into some logistical issues during the planning process, and he was incredibly easy-going and accommodating in working with us to find solutions that worked for everyone. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. Kabir DJ’d for our civil ceremony last month and did a fantastic job! He was very responsive to all our requests and paid great attention during our planning to make sure the night goes smoothly! He played awesome music- mix of both English and Hindi and all our guests had a good time!! Highly recommend him and will def be working with for our future event needs!

We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. My sister and I hosted my brothers 50th birthday party in our back yard and Desi Beatzs was our DJ. He was the absolutely best! Awesome music, awesome equipments and just a fun guy! We contracted with DJ Pawan for our son's graduation Party last week and he was absolutely fabulous. Music selection, sound, lighting, stage and his demeanor makes him the best in the Charlotte Metro Area. He also played a great mix of American and Bollywood music for kids and everyone danced non-stop for 4 hours....
