Sris helped me with my custody case, even when it looked as if I had nothing to stand on. Sris took every scenario and incident I gave him and looked at it 15 different ways with just as many outcomes and how to handle them. You get what you pay for with this seasoned litigator and he is worth it as he will work hard to get you your desired outcome or as close as he can (after all, the judge has the final say). He has litigated or seen probably almost scenario/case possible and with that experience, he has great advice to give and he always left it to me to decide how to proceed. In August, I found myself speed trapped on a highway in VA. This road (highway) had a speed limit of 55pmh and dropped to 35 mph for the last mile. I was on Lee highway and assumed the speed limit was 65mph or 70mph (as posted often in VA and it being a HIGHWAY and all) but I was wrong. When I initially got pulled over, I thought it was for not signaling in a left only turn lane. I didn’t think I was at all speeding. Turns out I was, and the ticket would be for reckless driving which in Virginia is a Class I misdemeanor. The fines and severity of reckless driving in the state of Virginia are $2500 max fine, 6 months loss of license and up to 1 year in jail. (Yes, up to 1 year in jail). I am from NJ, we have reckless too and it is a moving violation that has consequences, but jail is not one of them. When I found this out I was very nervous and very frustrated. I could tell my instance or situation was severe because the officer, however polite or moderately polite, was very angry at my speed. Regardless of my situation or story, I was clocked doing 74 in a 35. That time of moving violation comes with a heavy price. I called a few attorney's and the one I had the nicest, fairest, most down to earth conversation with, was Sris. He was upfront, didn't sugar coat, worked right away with me, pricing was beyond fair and he provided me with all the pros, cons and possibilities without making any promises. I appreciated that. First time going to court (he represented me, while I stayed in NJ). The prosecutor wanted jail time and wasn't budging, so we decided to go to trial. Fast forward to today, my trial, I finally meet Sris and the news initially was not so good (out of his hands). Prosecutor and officer want 10 days in county jail for speeding. After hearing this, I am nervous because my wife and newborn are at home and I didn't plan at all for this. (possibly an overnight as to make amends with county for speeding and paying a small price for the possibility of a much heavier charge if they wanted to impose such on me). My insight or advice would be to listen and do what Sris and his firm ask. By provided Sris and his firm with all they requested of me prior to my trial, accompanied with his full understanding of my case, coupled with the way he presented it to the judge, I was able to drive home to my wife, tonight. I broke the law and everyone's circumstances are different. I can't guarantee someone with my similar situation would have a similar outcome. What I can tell you is that Sris provided me a service, honestly and in the end, he won the case for me. Reckless Driving is a serious offense in general, but more so in VA. Sris was amazing in helping me get my second reckless driving ticket reduced to regular speeding, allowing my insurance rate not to get raise extremely high. Before I went before the Judge Sris called me into the hall after smooth talking the prosecutor and told me it would only be fined for a regular speeding ticket rather than a second charge for reckless driving and possible license suspension. His office was fantastic at getting me all the information I would need to have a solid case. After leaving the court room Sris stayed and talked with me in line until I paid for my ticket giving me advice and asking what I planned on doing in the future. My wife and I hired Jasmit to help us get my wife's Green Card. Jasmit made the process much smoother then I anticipated. Her pricing is very fair,she keeps her meetings and she always returns calls. I called several attorneys before meeting with Jasmit and each time I was baffled by the first question being with regards to the consultation fee. I highly recommend Jasmit!

I needed advice on estate planning and wills for my aging parents. I had done my research beforehand and was aware of a significant but often overlooked document that needs to accompany the will. I didn't say anything to Jasmit as a test to see if she paid attention in school or if she was just another fill in the blank lawyer. The will had everything I wanted...obviously Jasmit had been taking notes in law school when they went over wills. My parents were too frail to make the 90 minute trip to her office so she came out to the nursing home to meet with them, confirm their mental competency, and oversee the signing before the notary. I greatly appreciated this as a number of attorneys wouldn't work with us if my parents couldn't come to their office. She also was making sure my parents weren't being scammed. Having my wife and I, my parents, the Social Services Director, witnesses and notary all present at the same time in the same room was like orchestrating a cat circus. Jasmit handled it so smoothly. I just sat back and watched, grateful it wasn't me. My father has since passed and my mother has been tested and diagnosed with moderate dementia and Anxiety Disorder common in elderly with breathing issues. At times she accuses me of malfeasance, claiming I had her sign everything when she was sedated in the hospital. When this happens I gently ask her if she remembers the lady lawyer. I am so glad we worked with Jasmit.
