I usually am not one to write reviews, however, I felt like i absolutely had to share our experience with others. So, we had hired two companies - one to do the loading and one to do the unloading (We had our own U-haul truck and thought this would be a way to save a couple bucks, turns out this really did not save us money, the cost of the U-Haul(with milage and insurance) + Mover1 + Mover2 came out to be same as it would have had we hired one company to do the move start to finish) Mover2 ended up cancelling on us the night before, they were supposed to help us unload our truck at our new place and set up all the furniture. We had requested them to provide a Certificate of Insurance since our Apartment required it in case of any damages to the building during the move, apparently these movers didn't care for that and cancelled on us. Again, they cancelled on us the night before our move. So I called Best Moving Service around 8pm on Saturday and spoke to CP - although he said they already had jobs lined up for the following day, they would help us out in the evening time (which worked out perfect for us) Mover1 who packed us up at our old place damaged our furniture quite badly and wrapped it terribly. The only thing they did well was the way they put everything in the truck. So when Best Moving Service showed up to our apartment to help us unload - CP told me he and his team would take care of everything from unloading to setting up everything (They also helped us with boxes from our other Cars - which other movers normally wouldn't even touch since it wasn't in the truck) Not only did Best Moving Service unload the truck but also fixed the broken parts of the furniture (our bed set is probably one of the most complicated bed sets ever made - Beware when buying Italian furniture) they were able to put it together and it took much longer than they had anticipated because of the bed. But they stayed and did it - without complains. If they had not come and helped out with our unloading - all our stuff would have been on the truck until next weekend when we would finally be able to do it ourselves - that would mean UHaul would charge us for an entire week as well. So thank you CP, Carlos and Charlie for helping out last minute and doing a great job - we will definitely spread the word!

Great service. Their rates were very nominal but they did an excellent job. I had a lot of glassware and a big fish tank that was very tricky to move, but they did a very good job. They were also punctual and flexible with placements.

Excellent moving experience with Best Moving service. We moved 3 BR worth of furniture 30 mins away. The movers wrapped up all the items diligently and made sure that there were no scratches on walls while moving out. While moving in, the movers made sure to ask me which boxes are going to which room. Overall, this is an excellent service we received for the competitive price that they provided us. Will highly recommend them to other folks and use them in the future as well.

This was the best moving experience we had. It was from NJ TO NYC. The whole team was extremely cordial, efficient, helpful, punctual and we had the most hassle free move. Very good, efficient service. Before packing anything, the crew looked for any dents/scratches and if there were any, they informed us and then only packed it. Packing was done in a professional manner. Before loading, they disassembled everything that had to be disassembled (bed frames, couch, dining table, TV etc..), loaded the truck, and then assembled everything that had to be assembled at the unloading location. All my items were loaded/unloaded without any issue.

I found this through a word of friend , they were able to quickly schedule (under 10 hours) move. They were accurate with their expectations and requirements. Truck was clean and with pretty much everything you can ask for. Folks did wrap everything, dissemble furniture , covered mattresses with brand new covers as well as used a lot of packing material like shrink wrap and or tapes when needed. Super reliable and very efficient, was able to move in under 4 hours (where one hour was drive). I highly recommend this service .

We hired them for our move from Edison New Jersey to Virginia in March 2020. They were very prompt and responsive. Mr CP makes sure we are clear about everything and follows up so that there won’t be any delay on moving day. He suggested we don’t need big truck for the things we had. They were very friendly and caring. They come on time. All our luggage reached Virginia on the same day in the same truck. I recommended them to my friends and they too had good experience.

Shiv and the crew he brought were amazing. We moved from CO to NJ and after driving a Penske 30 hours, we were exhausted, so we had Best Moving come out to unload the truck. They were communicative and professional. We hit a major roadblock when the Penske wouldn’t make it up the steep grade of our driveway and got stuck. The guys waited patiently while we got the truck towed, then they figured out a way to get all of our things inside the house. They were efficient, honest, and professional. Would 100% recommend!

It was the best decision to hire Best moving services. They were on time, very professional, and extremely efficient. The move was completed much faster than we anticipated, almost in 2.5 hours including packing TV, drawer cabinets, dismantling the bed and reassembling it, loading, and unloading. Before starting moving of boxes they visited each room, asked us about what goes & what stays. They moved boxes from one room at a time & went to next after clearing the first room. They moved boxes quickly & completed loading ahead of the time I anticipated. Similarly, they unloaded all boxes & placed them per the labelling on each box (done by us). This move really helped us a lot. We were looking for quotes from so many moving companies. Some were very expensive calling it month end move and some were very tight on their schedules because of month end. Mr Shiv Patel came over to our place out of his tight schedule and provided us with a quote and we both agreed upon a reasonable price as a flat rate move. They got a 17 foot truck, with all packing gear for the furniture and on time. They worked on all furniture with great care, well packed with sheets and took care for over 30 boxes and loaded all of them in the truck. The unloading was taken care for all the items, which included a heavy sectional. They had perfect time management skills and completed our move to a great satisfaction well within 4 hrs. I will definitely recommend them for their services and will reach them for my future move.

3 person came. They were super efficient and reliable. Few boxes didn’t get to the right rooms but I was very happy since they made it very fast. The move started at 9 and was done at 1.

This was hands down the best decision we made for our move. We booked the Best Moving Service after a few recommendations from our friends. From our initial conversation with CP to the completion of our move, everything was done with perfection. CP came to our house a week before our move to review our inventory and give us a better idea of time of move and size of truck needed. A few days later we were informed that our closing date was going to be pushed and CP worked with us to find a new day to move us. On the day of the move, CP and his team arrived early and to say I was blown away would be an understatement. The team worked efficiently together, everything was packed into the truck with the utmost care. Any time the team felt something was not packed properly or if there was any issues, the team made sure we were made aware. This was very nice to see the honesty not only from CP but from the whole team. There was even one box that CP said they were not comfortable taking as it was too much of a risk to put in the truck (box of glasses that were loose) and he was spot on about that. When we arrived to our new home, the team worked quickly to unload us. They placed every item where we asked to. They even moved some stuff after we had a change of heart. After this experience, I will never look to move without a moving company and I hope when that time comes, CP and his team are there to help.

I found out I was moving last minute. They were able to accommodate in 3 days and we found an open time. I called 10 places, these were the best price near me. They arrived on time, with confirmation the day before and an hour before. The price was reasonable for the job. The movers were very quick; they had a dolly and a furniture cart.They even helped me move small items. Everything was quick for this local move. It took less than an hour to load and the whole job was done in 2.5 hours. I advise you to have everything ready to go- packed and closed with boxes labeled and furniture cleared and ready to move and a place for them to park the truck. They also offered to move the boxes and furniture to specific rooms. They secured the boxes and items logically and had bungee for inside the truck. I did not move anything super fragile or disassemble furniture. Tip the workers they did a good job. I would recommend to a friend or use them again.

I needed to have moved large amount of items that was placed in storage after the sale of my house. My first encounter with CP and his team was on moving day. They proved to be very professional, on time, friendly and respectful. They worked at a quick pace but still handled everything with extreme care and expertise. CP gave me good advice on how items should have been packed and stored plus secured many of the boxes and bags with packing wrap and/or tape. CP was great! He and his team were quick and everything was delivered cross-country safely. He came to our house twice to look at everything to make sure we weren't paying for a larger truck than we needed. The team also came with extra packing materials to make sure nothing broke.

These movers are great! They neatly wrapped all the large furniture and carried it with ease, but carefully too. My sister and I were downsizing our mother’s assisted living apartment and moving large pieces of furniture, some artwork, hanging television, and some very heavy boxes into storage. We had arrangements made for a Saturday move with another company, which fell through last minute. We called CP left a message, and he returned our call immediately. He and his 2 man crew met us on a Sunday morning at 9 AM with a day and a half notice, and did a great job. They wrapped everything to protect it from dust and scratches. Universal Relocations did a great job with my shipment from the USA to India. The crew that packed me out were very professional and carefully packed all of my items, which all arrived in good order with no damages. The only downside, that has very little to do with them, is that the port in Chennai was very busy and it took 2 - 3 weeks to get the items even though the shipment was in country.

Overall good experience. Staff were friendly and courteous. Packing people were good. I was bit scared when I saw the condition of boxes in indian customs port, but luckily there was no damage to any of my items. Not sure whether everybody can be lucky. I would defintely recommend my friends to try them for relocation.

Overall the service is great right from getting the quote to getting all boxes delivered to my doorstep. I had so many questions about the shipment process, Geetha from Atlanta was so responsive and answered all my queries. I also had questions related to Customs clearance and Saravanan from Chennai office handled my order with due diligence. I had packed all my 19 boxes and all boxes reached destination without any damage to the items. The customs clearance in Chennai Port was so smooth and the team had taken care of each customer with at most care.

Thanks a lot for helping me out in relocating from US to India. All my things reached in perfect condition as packed by the recommended double walled boxes. The Wardrobe box which was not double walled had some minor dents. The delivery here in India took a hassle of a few hours, as they said it would be noon and delivered at 11 PM that night. I highly recommend this company! Ok, its going to be a long post, but I hope to help people who are going through what I went through. And please pay it forward :) I wanted to move my things in June 2016 from Philadelphia, USA to India - door to door. I had no electronics or furniture and was doing this move all on my own. SCARY! I went through several company websites, read several reviews(horror stories, some of them) and was one confused and extremely stressed out person. Moving on your own is expensive and no fun. It took me some to figure out that I did not qualify for FCL or LCL but 'excess baggage'. Spoke to several movers - ridiculous rates, incomplete information, was just not satisfied. Thankfully, I came across Universal Relocations. Guys, this is different from UniReLo. Some things that set them apart. 1. Excellent customer service - there was someone who I could talk to anytime, even weekends. I got all my questions answered, thank you to Balaji and Rishi Aravind. They were very patient and very straightforward. No hurry to rush and pay money, like some other companies I spoke to. Once my shipment reached India, the India office person (Shyamala) got in touch with me, confirmed my address etc. My shipment took about two and a half months. I was kept up to date regularly by email. I did not even need to use the tracking number they gave me to track my shipment, they were so good. 2. This is one of very few companies that does Excess Baggage Shipment WITH door to door service. Some companies have stopped it as it is not financially lucrative, also, there is also lot of harassment apparently, at India Customs. 3. MOST IMP - they have their own office in India. Please, please clarify this when you are booking with a moving company. i read and heard stories of people who shipped with companies who had a partner in India, not their own people. So once the shipment reached India, they absolved themselves of all responsibility, and the customer had a crazy time getting in touch with the third party, extra unexplained costs, etc. All in all, I moved six boxes - very, very reasonable price. I bought insurance from them too, I believe it is mandatory, gives you some peace of mind. They sent the shipping labels, forms by email - very simple process. Fedex came and picked up my boxes from my house, they were sent to NJ warehouse(I think it was NJ). The company put extra wrapping too. and then shipped to Chennai. They reached my house in Mumbai by road. I paid online. I had extra payment to be made Rs.1696 for misc charges incurred at customs - Customs looked through two boxes. Since I did not want to make my parents go to the Bank and transfer money etc, they agreed for Cash on Delivery! They did not hold up shipment or anything like that(yes other companies have done that). My shipment was intact - except for two broken glasses, which I suspect was broken as I labeled the Fragile box only after the Fedex guy picked it up and loaded it(threw it) onto the truck. I was going to be travelling in the US for 3 months, so it did not matter to me if the shipping took one week or 3 months. For those who have a time crunch, think of shipping by air instead. I am happy with Universal Relocations - it was a surprisingly very pleasant experience. Best part was the transparency and these guys know what they are doing and are very professional. I went through their website and trustpilot prior to booking, they personally reply to grievances and have overall very good reviews(yeah, sometimes things will go wrong, people will be unhappy). Would recommend them any day. I generally never write such long glowing reviews, but I am truly pleased with the whole process. Good luck with your move!

I took a 40 feet full load container from USA to India with door to door service. Every item shipped reached me without any issues except couple of glass wares due to minor issues with packing of those items. They were available to answer any questions any time.
