Sangeetha Vidwan Smt.Prema Sriskandarajah is one of the prime disciples of Late Sangeetha Kala Nithi Tanjavore M.Thyagarajan (TMT). She graduated from Govt.Music College, Chennai Tamil Nadu a very young age obtaining prestigious title “Sangeetha Vidwan” and the certificate Dip-in-Music. She performed as an “A” grade artist in both Carnatic and light classical forms in Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation and Rupavahini Television.She has performed internationally in Sri Lanka, U.K., Canada, Denmark, Norway, and in 2007 in Canberra, Australia at Arupadai Murugan Temple for Kumbhabishekam and in Sydney for a Charity event. She has been the Vice President of Thamil Isai Kalaa Manram of Ontario for the last 8 years, associating her with Manram activities from its very inception in 1992. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Premalaya Music Academy. She teaches Vocal and Veena for students.
