Listening to my mom’s old albums of film songs, I found a deep connection with a uniquely western spin and Indian-American POV. My mixed Desi background has informed my cultural understanding & galvanized my life's work - to illuminate the beauty in our differences. I’ve had the honor of planning and executing successful events for thousands of people for 2 decades. I kept seeing dancers, entertaining and celebrating, but it wasn’t personal and it wasn’t engaging. While planning an event in 2019, I tried something new - I created a video reel of my favorite Bollywood songs and hired dancers to perform AND engage my audience.
